I’ve been looking at this for a couple years now I’m a little intimidated. I never ran a CMC machine, if I’m beginner with no experience, how easy is it to get started?

I think (based on your past comments).. the shopsabre May be a better fit. I am also super curious on the PhantomCNC SCA 44. If you wanted to ask me some questions about the xcp.. I’m on IG @grfn.prjx ..

@@grfnprjx I will say one thing that I have seen repeatedly has been that Shopsabre's customer service is not the best. Their technical service is great from what I hear. The other issue is I don't have 220v power currently. So most machines I am looking at are a no go for now.

Honestly if your electrical panel can do it .. probably pretty easy/cheap to get a 220v installed and worth it. I am still finishing up my latest xcp but I’ll throw in it’s weak points for ya :)

Thanks! It’s been a pretty awesome addition to the shop. Only "downside" is sometimes with CNC in general, I think I can do one-off furniture parts quicker with other power tools.. but for accuracy and repeatability--it can't be beat.. esp. the X-Carve Pro.. it's just awesome.

Wanting to get into Cnc . I am more of the hobbiest looking to start a business. I am not a computer person. Is the programming friendly? Would this machine be for me?

I would check out the lower priced CNCs out there.. bit.ly/openbuildsleadmachines - OpenBuilds Store sells their LEAD machines which are similar to the XCarvePro (driven by lead screws for much cheaper, and the process of building this machine will give you a better understanding of how all the pieces come together plus their software is arguably better. I will make a Video on these topics soon so make sure you’re subscribed :)
