VR isn't really for that. Just buy Reason, Ableton, or something.

HybridEnergy I think it's a bit early to restrict VR and say it's not for music creation if that's what you mean. Personally I think it's could be a great tool for music creation and performance. All you need is a setup like Electronauts with the ability to add your own samples and some virtual instruments that you can record for as long as you want and edit easily like you already can with the orb samples. I'm sure advanced and expert users could come up with some amazing stuff.

Maybe performance, but music creation is far more complex. This just beat matches crap for anyone. It's nothing more than Techno Ejay in VR. I make music and this might be fun for someone to just mess around with, but other than performance I don't see making music from scratch in VR. There is no point to have a virtual reality back ground and presence.

I have a history in music too, I'm imagining a lot of the recording work being done in the conventional manner but also some recording of virtual instruments in VR but mostly using it for the end performance.

I'm not expecting Pro quality music but who knows, people come up with awesome ideas.

He did a good job explaining his point of pros and cons. He's just cutting to the point by talking instead. Many other streamers have tons of actual gameplay on this.
