The group is INXS (sounds like "In-X-S" or in excess) and the lead singer was Michael Hutchence (RIP). He and the band were an absolute knockout live - saw them on the Kick! tour in Birmingham, AL- and Michael's charisma and onstage presence were off the charts!🔥🔥🔥🔥Another great artist and an amazing human being (from what I've seen and heard in documentaries about them) gone too soon. We need more of this great Australian band! One of their first big hits was Don't Change. Other great bangers were What You Need, Disappear, and New Sensation. Very talented and tight group. Quality music.

The band's frontman Michael "Hutch" Hutchence suffered brain damage as the result of an injury sustained when a taxi driver pushed him, he fell and his head hit the concrete. It totally changed his personality and things became very tough the last years of his life. He is loved and sadly missed.
