I can assure you that Morissette, my favorite vocalist by far, is still going strong. She is from the Philippines and well-known in Asia (known in fact as "Asia's Phoenix"). It is a crime that she is not the global superstar she deserves to be. My theory is that the music industry in the U.S. and Europe does not promote her, because their singers do not compare favorably, and Morissette does not want to be owned/controlled by the superficial and manipulative music moguls in the West. She performs all over the world though and is thankfully becoming better known.
Mate she was a great artist when she performed this 6 years ago. Now she is simply the best female vocalist on the planet. You have heard nothing yet. Enjoy you journey through her incredible volume of work. I literally can not go a day without listening to her. It is not an exaggeration to say she is better than the big 3. She performs in rarefied air now because she is that good.

She's been performing over 10 years and definitely still active in her career, But she has remained relatively unknown globally, except through her YT exposure. In the top-tier of all-time world class vocalists, and a captivating, passionate, expressive performer/entertainer. She does have more recent material, but this one and a few other Wish Bus videos are what got her noticed worldwide, and considered "classic Mori."
