I think Williams favorite is actually Elizabeth because she was the most convenient to him. C.C meant nothing to him and Micheal betrayed William, while Elizabeth took after her father and stood with him till the end.
I’d say his least favorite is Elizabeth. William probably sees a mirror himself in Michael, and seemed the most determined to actually help cc after death.
I think it's because they always like to stereotype William for only abusing Michael not really the others, so they say Michael is the favorite to spice things up but it's old honestly
