Hopefully they fix so that the tv guided munitions dont switch targets mid flight. If a live tank is sitting next to a dead tank or even in the vicinity of a dead tank it'll look the dead tank. Shit is so annoying lol.

APFSDS today is weird, no spalling at all .. I think they nerfed it so one shot kill get reduced.

It's probably not a nerf, rather a bug. Similar to the bug where rounds simply can not richochet anymore due to angle, well they still try to penetrate steeply angled armor up to 88-89 degrees or so before you get a visual ricochet. Like there is not even reduced spall, rather no spall at all on side armor (non composite) especially. HEATFS might occasionally still spall, so somehow it might be the better ammo type now. At least T-72/80 front armor still spalls from, so right now NATO got quite the advantage when it comes to that, because their hulls spall in less regions now or not at all.

That's why use one second fuse bomb, the bomb will bounce on the tank and explode on the ground. Gaijin ruined bombs pen value and no one asked for it.

@@Hunter_i86 Thanks man. Also what’s the max range you can employ GBU-8’s? I’m so used to using walleyes they glide so wel but GBU8’s don’t glide like walleyes. I usually climb to 6-7000m then go in and drop when the target is maybe 7KM away. Sometimes they’ll track and hit then sometimes it’ll tumble out of track or switch targets to a dead tank.

@@jordancourse5102 Any drop more than 3km distance is a gamble because you are locking the ground .. so if the target stayed static it will hit, I don't know what is the maximum range of these bombs, I just estimate the drop like an unguided bomb .. the best drop is dive at -70 degrees and drop them at a 3km target to ensure it will track.

Depending on speed an altitude, you can get very great range out of the GBU-8s. 25km is easy from an A-7D flying 800km/h at 9km altitude, also still possible flying at 900km/h and 6km

it's not that the radar wouldn't lock unless the doors are opened, but that the radar wouldn't lock until it's close enough to be seen by the radar. And for that you have IRST and OOT (which SPAA's also have irl) And the maps being so small would make stealth near useless since it only has an effect if it's further away from the radar source

I didn't play HSTVL, maybe one or two battles and before the reload and BR change .. I just don't like prototype vehicles, in WT and in real life as well haha. Maybe I should give it a go.

@@Hunter_i86 its very fun if you like to pick people apart its not a particularly reliable oneshot but you can very easily pick people apart by hitting the breech or barrel of russian tanks you can also pen the normal drivers hatch and LFP but your spall can sometimes be a little annoying also why do you take two ground attackers and a heli just personally I find I never get enough points for a second plane are you taking two for different capabilities or something

thats the reason why i dont play ground realistic anymore, russian tanks are total unreal. best armor, decent ammo, era side skirt blessed by stalin.... russian tanks was fine in 2021, where you could one shot them at the side. now its very hard and luck.... but every nato tank is a one shot from side ..... and butter upper frontalplate kekek so dumb! (i played almost all tanks, except ztz99 and merkava 4)
