After getting the F16 and F14B, I have been watching your videos to learn how to do ground strike. I would like to ask one thing about this video. Flying at 4000m will not have smoke trails, but how do you know if a Pantsir or Tor is locking/firing at you with their silent lock?

Would you say that TV guided munitions is the way to play in the pantsir era when playing non-soviet nation? So that you can lock, drop and instantly defend using cover? How do you find F-14B in current state of things?

Hunter, can you try this tactic where you fly hot into the battlefield on the deck, and once you reach 3 to 4 km, say B point, you then go vertical holding full elevator while rolling here and there to go spiral vertically (mark their spawn point so you'd where to look for SPAA). You see, F-16A's energy retention is great, you can easily maintain 1000 to 700 kph while holding your elevator up-- the idea is to go vertical with a slight spiral really close as a surprise and hold orbit pattern to exploit the SACLOS nerf where how missiles are harder to pull G let alone tracking you doing slight orbit 3 to 4 km above them. Dive down, pickle, and disappear. I've fought 3 Pantsirs and won, don't dive below 3 km-- guns are deadly. VT-1 will be your main enemy this close :) always a trade doing this if VT-1 presents. I might email you about how I've been doing this once I have the chance to play. Edit: Holding the elevator shouldn't discourage you, its fly-by-wire is insane keeping speed up.

And to think all they had to do was move 50m and your attacks wouldve been negated. That is why TV guided munitions suck in their current state, and why you dont sit completely still in spawn in SPAA. Also helps if you sit in/close to vegetation, makes it hard even for people using filters to see you in black and white TV.

Is the rendering distance affected by the graphic quality? If so, I doubt very much that my potato pc can detect it at such a distance

Can we expect F-14B and Mirage 2000-5f videos soon as well? Especially the latter, I'm interested to see how good that targeting pod is in practice compared to the other pods as it essentially has helicopter levels of zoom and thermal resolution. Also, but maybe I should keep quiet about it, Gaijin broke the A-6E's and Mirage 2000D thermal resolutions in this update in a good way. When copying over the NVD modification from helicopters to them, they didn't change the thermal resolution, so now they too enjoy high quality thermals (gen2+). Hopefully they don't fix it, even though I don't have them I wish people to have less eyesores that come with gen 1 thermals. At least I believe it to be a bug, as standard (without NVD mod on) they both still only have gen 1 thermals and planes don't use the same resolution for gen 2+ as helicopters, evident from the damocles pod (gen 1: 500x300, gen 2: 800x600, gen 2+ (heli): 1024x768, gen 2+ (plane): 1080x720, gen 3: 1200x800). *EDIT, slight difference, the NVD mod on the mirage 2000D seems to be a copy paste from the 2000-5F instead, so it gets 1080x720 instead of 1024x768, not that it like matter much. **EDIT, mirage 2000D sadly doesn't have the better resolution as the game file is worded so it only applies to the internal sight (which the mirage 2000D of course doesn't have). So still only gen 1, but the A-6E does have an internal sight so it does have that benefit (which is still a bug) but let's keep quiet about it.
