The are not located on big Britain, nor little Britain. They are located on the Island of Ireland. Also, it is very politically charged. Many people who live there consider themselves British (AKA, UK citizens), yet many also consider themselves definitely NOT British. Until just a smidge over 25 years ago there was still a war actively fought about this topic. And the Good Friday Agreement was only a ceasefire. Can you see why most people tend to avoid this subject entirely?
