Gib vs. Kenny is gonna be fireworks. I was really impressed by Kenny tho. He was using the Philly shell, had good head movement, good footwork, good combinations/hand speed, jab had aimbot, and he turned into the influencer version of Jaron Ennis towards the end of that 5th round lol. I do wanna see how he looks when someone like Gib puts him under pressure and offers more resistance tho.
Philly shell as a rookie is very risky tho, you can’t master that in 2/3 years. If he tries to philly shell on gib it’s gonna be a longer day than it would’ve been ;)
He didn’t really Philly shell. I mean he did but was just for a short time he was just giving a whole bunch of looks because he could do whatever he wanted against windersson he was just toying with him
Most impressive thing from Kenny was his distance control, he was able to Philly shell comfortably because he established his range early, knew when he was safe and wasn't Windersson literally couldn't get past the jab of Kenny, if he can do the same against Gib I think it's an easy night These dudes don't have the footwork required to shift and get past/around Kenny's reach, Gib is a dog but I don't think his footwork is on Kenny's level
It all comes down to if gib can get by Kenny’s jab, Kenny’s going to be so long compared to gib and gibs footwork is sometimes stumbly he could struggle getting inside until later rounds, he just can’t lose all the early rounds and get outpointed from the start because he starts a little slow

Spot on breakdown, never seen anyone shift or display the footwork you would need to get past Kenny's jab, plus the reads Kenny was making with the uppercut as well If you enter the pocket lazy Kenny will catch you and honestly as you said at times Gibs footwork is sloppy at best Gib would have to come out at a high pace from the jump and just hit everything, target the arms and hips even if you can get away with it He needs to slow Kenny as soon as he can if he wants to win the fight, if it stays at a range where Gib is forced to box with Kenny it's gonna be a long night for Gib

I do agree about Jarvis but I think it’s just as likely that Kenny turned Nunes into a punching bag too, we know he’s not great/ as committed as others. But he still was there to fight it’s just Kenny turned him into a punching bag by putting an immediate stop to everything Nunes tried to do
for me gib is favourite to win it depends on how much kenny has learnt from raksu fight cause gib is also going to put alot of pressure on him kenny has looked impressive but his opponents both were worse then gib's opponent

Ya but the level of the opponent was just not on the same level not taking anything away from Kenny but he won't be able to do that with gib. Gib vs Kenny will be an actual serious fight it's an honest 50/50 I can see both of them being knocked down once or twice but I don't see a ko it'll go to points in my opinion
I don't know, Nunes looked unstoppable in his last fight, now we understand it wasnt the case. When an opponent doesn't fight back you can do anything. Kenny's looked the best was a spectacle, but Gibs held the most weight behind it

Gib has to start getting his lead hand back… he does good at framing but when Jarvis was swinging he kept that lead hand out and got caught a few times because not bringing his hand back
I think Gib probably beats everyone in the scene barring Jake tbh. He just has so much more experience than anyone else. He always takes tough fights and fights regularly. That experience is invaluable
Gib looked the best according to me. Seeing how Jarvis performed against Zeneti and Mayweather Spar shows he has some experience in the bag which Nunes does not have, of which Kenny took advantage, and won smoothly.

I believe gib looked the best on the night, doesn’t take anything away from kenny performance, however gib was working the body and putting on alot of pressure, kenny will struggle against the pressure as we have seen before, if kenny can just land alot of shots and outpunch gib he will win on points, but i just dont see that happening and i see gib winning the final
I knew Gib was going to beat Jarvis. For a Gib vs Kenny, I see Gib closing the distance and it being a fight in the inside. It's not going to be a range fight, believe Gib is going to rough him up and disable Kenny's biggest weapon which is the jab.
Leon made 2 really good points near 25 mins. 1. Is that you can’t add a female to that small council JUST because she’s a female. The 4th person has to fully earned it and be valid and if it so happens to be a female then cool. Awesome. Technically looking at fights, I agree with Leon when he disagreed with Vidal's take on Kenny's performance, but me being a person that doesn't know all that technical stuff like he does, BRO Kenny was more entertaining to watch. And being that most of us the audience aren't boxing heads that catch all the little things, this was just easier to digest and see who's winning plus the show boating from Kenny was just what i think we want to see. If Kenny just knocked him out quickly and moved on that does nothing for our (my) entertainment. cool knock out. one-sided af. I'll forget all about it in a week or two.

If the ref allows Kenny to keep getting away with the lead hand sticking out the whole fight gib will have a harder time trying to find a way around that
Kennys performance was better but its because he had an easier opponent, you can only fight whats in front of you, gibs was very impressive too but no one actually thought gib would lose and if you if you did you dont know boxing at all so they both had opponents they shouldve beat and kenny did it more convincingly other than that leons got everything right. Gib gets inside first round and Kenny tries to survive or Kenny pushes him out and picks at him and wins by decision it's very close but they are the most likely but I think gib will take it but it'll be fairly close
Leon’s right, king Kenny’s performance was one of the best in the scene of not the best in the scene. But when you fight someone who’s not their to get you out of the ring then it’s easy to have a good performance. We know Kenny couldn’t do this to Gib, Kenny can still beat gib and cause problems with his jab, but not the way he beat Nunez. If he does then Kenny is no doubt top 5fp. I was stupid because I said Jarvis would win because I picked feelings rather then calculated analysis on who has more experience and opponent levels and gibs activity level.

After McBroom v gib 1 it seemed like gib would just smoke the likes of slim etc ,same with after the 2nd McBroom fight but after the Jarvis win the slim fight seems a lot closer idk maybe it's the fighting styles which made gib look less explosive in the Jarvis fight
Kenny messed up with all that showboating, he should have finished him round 2. He’s going to go into the fight thinking it worked last time so it will work again. But he’s not going to get a chance to do that to gib. So unless gib falls over his clumsy feet and gets caught like what happened when he fought Jake.

ngl , gib footwork looked like shit on the pads but fight night after round 1 just like the austin fight, he settled in and it looked better gibs a good fighter, love him. A nerd few years ago, and now look at him he looks like a boxer I still think his only weakness is that he gets too panicky and he needs to work up on his footwork. He throws better combo, defensively hes good, and sticks to the plan Like I said, his footwork looked better in the fight than the pads after round 1 but he still appears stiff Kenny looks more fluid and natural
