Beautifully played at 3:33 - 3:40, very inspiring! Now I have to re-think how I feel about the Ibanez sound, and the quality of the build looks really good too.
I do. As a fan of the super strat body style and Ibanez 7 strings in particular, this guitar eliminates the need for a major fourth limiting baritone. So, if you plan to give this guitar away, let me be first to say, ME!!!
Hey Henning, greetings from NY! Fantastic playing on the noodle track man! Thanks for the entertaining review and be well, stay well and play well. :-)
This is exactly the kind of guitar I've been wanting. I've been really dissatisfied with the options for 7 and 8 string guitars. It's like, yo - I don't want a metal-only guitar.
I do. I need an AZ. Also a PIA. And maybe also the AR520, and a splash of the good ol' FRM300 with a side of the RG6PKAG. And a little bit of SEW521 thrown in for good measure.
Somebody say Pia? Maybe a woody Pia in twenty twenty tree 2023... let’s wait and see, till then I’ll be happy with a black one or a gold one or a green one or a pink one or maybe just a white Jem jr that I can probably get to pass the WAF/GAS equation sometime this year 🤣
@@saarangnarayan123 maybe we can tell Dr. Dan and he can pass it along, if some geek ever gets internet access again??? Don’t they have Starbucks in Austria????

Thank you for doing this Guitar’s review, I ordered this same guitar and it’s arriving tomorrow, very excited Edited: but I have ordered 6 strings, I just realized you were doing 7 strings review lol
Ladies and gentleman, from somewhere in Germany, I present to you the hottest duo in the galaxy: Henning Pauly and Ludwig van Noodles! The guitars are nice, the reviews in depth, your playing breath taking, but is your sense of humor that keeps me coming even when is about gear I wouldn't know how to use. Thank you for this!
So can I justify £2,000 to get an extra string I'm only going to hit once in a blue moon (by mistake 🤣)? No I can't realistically. I wish I was 40 years younger and could start again
Ibanez has always been my brand of choice but i only try to get prestige models... and this 2021 new models are kinda disappointing... well also 2020 TBH, that's sad

Hey man, great stuff! I have an Ibanez az2402 TFF myself, and I love it. However, I have been noticing that the roasted maple in the neck is kind of soft-ish. I discovered this when I started playing with my thumb behind the neck (instead of wrapped around the neck) that the nail of my thumb on my fretting hand could make indents (or 'lines' rather) in the neck, even when really (!) softly moved across the back of the neck, which is a movement that is kind of unavoidable when playing in a somewhat more excited fasion. Have you found that your maple neck also damages or dents easily in general, and if so, do you know how or if I can avoid further damage (apart from being extra carefull obviously haha)? To my recollection the maple neck was slightly 'harder' when i first bought the guitar, but this could be my imagination. I’ve theorized a little bit myself, and maybe it has something to do with the roasted maple sucking up moisture, and thereby getting softer, but this did not seem logical to me, because the neck has only been played inside and Ibanez seems to be really proud of their 'humidity defying' necks. Thanks in advance! All the best. 🙂 p.s. since yesterday i started putting silicon packets in the hardcase, to see if that solved anything, but obviously i haven't seen any results from that yet haha
@@Kutamitasa the silica gel packets seemed to help a little but, as did just keeping it in its case whenever i wasnt playing it, but i mostly stopped worrying about it and just played the instrument as it is intended for
Dude, if you don’t like the guitar then don’t make a video. Being subjective is one thing but you’re just being rude and trying to be funny. Very unprofessional.
Save yourselves half an hour of your lives, do what I did... ..Get a Charvel DK24 HSS (or, whichever p'up config. tickes your pickle the most, I don't care! 🤷♂️ Just get a Charvel DK over an Ibanez AZ!)
