Who really was the super agent Mino Raiola behind the scenes? 

Say what you want about Mino, but he made a point that stuck with me: you always hear clubs complaining about him, but never players. He always did work to look out for players and I respect that. Clubs can last forever and don’t need as much help.

I happened to meet him once. During the World Cup in Russia. He was with Zlatan, who was doing a sponsor event. Noone seemed to know who he was, all eyes were on Zlatan. So at some point a friend and I approached and greeted him by name, which I think surprised him a bit. And then we had this exchange: - How does one get a job like yours? - Find a guy like him (nodding at Zlatan obviously) Legend RIP

It's a good thing agents delegate their stuff to lawyers and their agencies... so raiola was never running these things directly there is will be some continuity. Never liked him, but there is a personal side in people too, hope his family and friends find peace in this time. Completely understand that mino as a friend would have been someone who would stand by you and provide you with opportunities when you need them the most. One of the games most controversial but probably the first players agent that influenced when player power became the norm. Rest in peace mino!

He was a tough nut to Crack from a club's perspective, but a true fighter for his players and indeed got the best of the deals for the players and for himself too. I think that's what the job of a football agent demands.

I believe he was one of Fab's most favorite person as he's one of the reason of big transfer all this time, and a lot of football fans hate him, because most of football fans are fans of the big clubs. but as a Juve fan, i try to see from all side, Mino and all the agents bring balance to the football world, imagine teams like PSG, or Man City with infinite money pay good players with small price ? or clubs like Madrid, Man Utd, or Juve who's already a big club can collect all the best player in the world with the same money with the small club using their name only ? that will brake the balance and make the gap between clubs became bigger and bigger. but with agents, rich clubs needs to pay much, they need to at least "suffer" if they want to hire a good player. so there are bargains, and players could also get paid as much as the club could pay them. RIP Mino.
