After staying three separate times at the Waterfront Hotel to check out The Villages, we have just scheduled our “lifestyle visit” for an entire week in November for my husband’s 60th birthday! They asked us who referred us and we said Jerry & Linda! Thank you for your hard work putting out these great informative videos! We are big fans! We can’t wait to eventually see you when we get there (for good!)
We are on our lifestyle visit this week. We're having a great time driving around in our golf cart. We have gone to the squares to listen to music . Definitely will be moving here in the next few years. Narrowed it down to 3 house designs we can choose from. Our real estate agent is wonderful, very helpful, and made our stay even better.
What a great show again. Jerry I give you so much credit for the film editing and filming. A Friend and I do a podcast and the hobby has turned into a job. I hope everyone appreciates the effort dedicated to this show. I still think a Thursday show of you and Linda showing post production would be amazing. Hi Jerry & Linda, I love your show and really like the new segment "Out & About." In general the portions seems small, do you find that to be the case with all restaurants in TV? That guy is so wrong, you're not creepy, you two are the most positive, real, and fun people that I watch and would love to meet. You feel like family! Blessings to you both & Gizmo!
Connie, when people say we feel like family we take that as the utmost compliment. We feel the same way. As far as the food portions, we would say no… we often buy a meal and split it, and both of us come away feeling full.

That is a great time to come. The weather should be perfect. As far as what is open, we don't remember. If there will be entertainment at all of the squares and the restaurants should be open.

Just a suggestion on the organ, if you’re willing to use an electronic piano, you could use headphones instead of an external speaker. That’s what we did for our mom when she moved in to senior housing, and that worked well for her.
I have heard from many that having a RU-vid channel is a lot of work. Please know how wonderful your show is and how appreciated you both are. I’ve watched from the beginning. I’m single, live with my two dogs. I feel you are friends.
As an organist I can tell you that headphones will be essential. Mid to large home organs will not only carry the sound, but cause vibrations as well. Your neighbors will hate you unless you headphone.
As far as the question regarding a Mayor. It seems that every village, neighborhood, street, villa and varanda section etc has "self appointed" Mayors 😊
I was wondering how you all were doing in the Villagers and other cities. Keeping my eye on you all !!! "Worrywart Debbie" !! We are only 2 miles to the Highways. The hospital and Doctors office 2 blocks away ,very close. We have 2 - 3 Urgent cares in each cities. In this entire region we have 4 other hospitals 20 minutes in different directions. Grocery stores are only 3 - 4 miles ( 10 minutes ), All the other activities are 5 minutes away. Bike / Walking trails at the end of each neighborhoods, easy access, they continue building more each year.

Lake Okahumka Rec Center is on the lake and an absolutely beautiful spot to see and take pics of the sunrise. Get there about 20 minutes before sunrise to see the beautiful colors.

However we believe it's too hot in the summer months. Also the cost of living is quite expensive in the United States. So we are considering other countries. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for giving your weather guy a thumbs up. We try to walk into the movie theatre when the movie is just starting (don't always time it perfectly) so we don't have to hear those booming commercials. They are loud. The last couple of times we went to the movie theater, people were dressed in blankets because it was so cold. We'll be taking a blanket next time. As always, great show Jerry & Linda.

Down here in Fort Myers when that storm went through it was like a normal rainy night. That was good to know about the insturments. I have an electronic piano and two synthesizers i i enjoy playing Id definitely use one of the rooms in one of those houses for my instruments.

Happy Labour Day Jerry and Linda! I also saw the videos for introducing The Enclave in The Village of Dabney. The area looks beautiful for Premier Homes and Designer Homes that are also being built there. The two designs that they mentioned the Warbler and the Kings Bays floor plans look nice. I am assuming the fact they are re-introducing the Premier homes means there is a market for them meaning they will be sold out soon.

First Responders a Village Center has a new full basketball court. Also Custom Apparel make up name tags. Tags run about $7.00 each good for clubs. Right real nice people.
Jerry and Linda always have a busy schedule. Aside from mailbag Monday, they need to prepare for a taco Tuesday, wacky Wednesday, thirsty Thursday, freaky Friday, Caturday and Sunday funday. They have no time to relax!

Our Town is a Village and we have a mayor . In this town, isn't not real strict , maybe our HOA might complaint, but that's not a lot . We don't have noise going on much around here, pretty quiet. If the nieghors invite their families for a pool party , that's fine, but they are sorta quiet too. We used to have an issue with couple of neighbors and mostly my spouse would complain , but now he's best friends with the ones, he used to complain at . I like my neighbors, they are finally finishing up building the subdivision, only took them 20 years. They stopped building back in 2008 because of the economy and it picked back up in 2014. These homes here, became double ++ in the last 2 years. These new homes now cost $400,000 - $550,000 since 2021.
