The whole idea of "he should get in next year" is a LOUSY argument why someone should or should not get in. If there are 10 first time balloters in a year, they should all get in. There shouldn't be logjams or waits to get in. Either a guy is a Hall of Famer or he is not a Hall of Famer. It's ridiculous. Devin Hester, Andre Johnson, Antonio Gates, Steve Smith, Julius Peppers, Patrick Willis, Fred Taylor, Dwight Freeney, and James Harrison seem like all sure fire Hall of Famers imo. Jared Allen, Tiki Barber, Eddie George, Fred Taylor, Anquan Boldin, Torry Holt, Rodney Harrison, Darren Woodson, and Robert Mathis I could be convinced possibly.
