Arsenal fan here. United are arguably the biggest team in world football; 20 league titles, 3 champions league titles, 12 FA Cups, treble winners.. To say that arsenal are a bigger club than Chelsea cause of our history and then to say that united are not bigger than arsenal cause history doesn’t matter is so hypocritical and just further proves that TY is a deluded and toxic fan..

There’s a difference between being the best club in London (in current time) and being the biggest club in London, Chelsea have been the best team in London in the past 10 years, however Arsenal are still the bigger club, probably the 3rd biggest club in the EPL behind Man Utd and Liverpool.

Manchester United are a much bigger club than Arsenal once you incorporate ADULT reasoning, reading of history and records. Not only have they won more major trophies, but they are valued more by major financial entities like Forbes index, as they turn over more revenue and have a much larger fan base. I think the question of who's a bigger club is an interesting one to answer. I think if you think of being successful, winning trophies over a long period of time, consistently challenging for titles over a long period of time and having a huge world wide fan base then it is no question Arsenal are a bigger club than Chelsea. The only reason this question exists is because of Chelseas recent success over the last 15 years or so compared to Arsenal and the complete and total lack of ambition currently being shown by the people running Arsenal football club. To further evidence my opinion I think of Liverpool, who I would consider a bigger club than Arsenal but have had no league title wins in 28 years and less competition wins than Arsenal in the last 20 years. Also you've got to consider fan base. It's interesting to see what football shirts people are wearing in different countries. I'd say in my travels I've seen more people wearing Barcelona, Liverpool, Man U and Arsenal shirts than any other. However due to my age that's only a short time of about 30 years, but found it interesting to add. Also Arsenal are super popular in Africa for some reason! I guess it because they've had some great African players over the years.

I support a Championship team so I'm neutral here. Liverpool and Man United are the 2 biggest clubs in England by a long way. Put them in either order you want. Arsenal are 3rd but a long way ahead of the rest. Chelsea and City dont register to me purely because of how they have achieved their success. However, when people say biggest club the past is massively important, this is why teams like Ajax and AC Milan are known for being some of the biggest clubs in the world.
