Fun Fact: There was an old MTV dating show called 'Dismissed', where one person simultaneously takes two others on a date. Each of the daters chooses a place to go, and the person running the date dismisses the person they like the least.
I loved that Laura confronted Jeramy! It’s honestly so disappointing to see how little integrity he has. I would have packed my bags without a word if I had been in her shoes, no time or energy for that behaviour. The trust and security was instantly shattered!
Clay deciding not to go home after work is building the perfect environment for cheating. And he "doesn't want to let her down." He's manifesting his armor for when he does find a side piece. (it sounds like he already has one!)
Reminds me of what Ashley talks about with the “fraud triangle”. Theres motivation, opportunity, and justification. Clay has at least two, if not all three
8:44 Jeramy saying “this is my opportunity to gain trust” was a big red flag for me. To me, it seems like preemptive of something he knew he was going to do. Like I heard “let me give this sense of trustworthiness so she won’t be suspicious later on”.
Clay is already trying to set up staying away from home multiple nights a week after saying he is worried he can't be faithful? Seems like he is already trying to set himself up the space to be able to cheat. 😬
Totally agree that nobody would have blamed Jeramey if he'd said, "this isn't working for me" and broke up with Laura. If he wants to explore other relationships emotionally or otherwise it would be the honest thing to do. The location thing: apparently the internet sleuth theory is that he left his phone in his car at the bar, but his phone is linked to his apple watch (he was wearing it at the end of the episode) and his apple watch can track location. So that's how Laura might have seen the two different locations being tracked. I think the theory makes sense, but I also don't put it past Laura to drive to the bar in the night to check up on him discreetly and follow him if she sees him leave with Sarah. Or maybe talk to the other people who were there since she seems to always know the latest gossip of what's going on.
I believe that when Chelsea says that Jimmy slept with someone in the preview, she was talking about one of his "friends! " Wouldn't that be a twist 😅😏🤯
I think Chelsea is probably talking about one of Jimmy's female friends when she's accusing him of sleeping with someone in that preview, not Jessica. I agree with you about cheating. Cheating to me is a premeditated *choice* which makes it an even more insidious form of abuse because I don't believe anybody accidentally cheats. It's not a "mistake". It's completely intentional.
My favorite theory is that Jeramy left his phone in his car thinking it would prove that he was in the parking lot all night, but his Apple Watch gave him away as Apple tracked that since it was moving as it would if your phone battery died. Also, I 100% believe Netflix does psych evals on the contestants just to make sure they pick people that have issues to stir up as much drama as possible.
Yes Ashley! Chelsea IS the "Single White Female" vibe. And Jimmy is going to RUN to Jessica and Jessica and Jimmy both know it. I don't even know why Chelsea is going to go off about it. Laura thinks she is so much better than her family, EXCEPT her family seems so down to Earth and able to keep their guys happy by not nit picking them to death. smh
There's been so much going on outside of the show as well. Trevor is apparently not actually a nice guy. He was already in relationship while he was on the show and was there just for clout. Jeramie was also in a relationship while on the show. There's been a whole lot of messiness going on.
7:54 they do do psych evals and background checks supposedly. But apparently not either very well. Danielle from season 2 who married Nick said she passed the psych eval and thinks she shouldn’t have, she was surprised bc she had self-harming thoughts in the past and wasn’t prepared to go on reality tv. She thinks she was passed for good tv.
@@membriash exactly, that’s what a lot of the past cast members who have had issues think as well. Production is using it as a checklist for when people complain about anything they can say no look we did this and this we’re not liable. Nick and another cast member from season 2, Jeremy Hartwell (who started the first LIB lawsuit but didn’t get hardly any screen time) started an organization called the UCAN Foundation that provides mental health and legal support to past, current, and future members of reality tv. They’ve gone on podcasts to talk about their mission and share stories from people (anonymously) who they’ve helped. Very glad they started that bc I do like watching LIB but it can definitely have a dark side since reality stars aren’t given the same privileges and rights that other workers in Hollywood and the tv/film industry are.
I assume the psych evaluations are about how well they will handle the fame, like how they do with Love Island. It’s definitely not about how they are as people/partners, or Matthew wouldn’t have gotten on lol
Her comment, “you will choke when you see me!” Is so narcissistic. When you say stuff like that, your looks fade faster than you can say, “is love truly blind”
Not taking up for Jeramey, but i understood why he couldn't say all of those things to Sarah Anne's message. He probably wasn't super happy with Laura, by then. She says she hates him every morning, she hates his clothes, she nags him incessantly. She downright set him up on the bean dip thing and she dogged him in front of her family. He probably was thinking he made the wrong choice. He double tapped the message and showed it to her, but even then he probably wasn't sure. Obviously he should have broken up with Laura first, but i understand why he didn't shut the door hard when Sarah Anne reached out.
there's a theory that Jeramy shared his location then left his phone in his car and joined sarah-ann in hers, but forgot his apple watch was going to continue to share his actual location lol
We grew up in Wisconsin. I think we lost a small amount of it moving around and going to the West coast, but its possible her working remote talking to midwesterners every day is bringing hers back a bit more
I DID!! I wonder if it was because he was already resentful towards AD, or if he just has an attitude towards everybody of “you should have brought your own jacket”. Maybe it’s his “I’m baby” mindset 👀
Okay for the LiB twist, instead of DisMissed, it could be Yankee Swap. They live with each person for a little bit, all show up to the wedding dressed up, then they can pick or steal one spouse per round and they have to get married at the end or say no 😂
I think you're right!! I think the "you f'd her!i know you did!" Clip is about one of these girls. What stands out to me about Jimmy's friends is he hasn't known them long. A couple of years
And how did that one girl make the leap from Chelsea saying Jimmy is emotional to he cried during sex? 👀 I would never make that leap about a man unless I knew in fact he was a crier during sex.
3:36 Not the "Can BEING smothered make you stronger" quip! 😂😅🤩 Y'all crack me up! Been bingeing your channel for days👍🏽💯👏🏽 PS Ashley- how did you get the 'reactions' gig wth Jason Statham???😳🤔
I hadnt considered that, but it makes a lot of sense. Hes almost saying he 100% does not want a kid atm. It would make sense they wouldnt be as open with discussing that and dancing around it in front of cameras because of family or community perspectives
Hi! This came up in my feed today so I don’t know anything about your channel. But yall had me laughing. “I’m a failed IUD baby and you’re a broken condom!” 😂
the things that have been coming up about some of these men... I don't understand if the casting is intentionally done this way, or they are totally inept.
Im really wondering also. I tend to shift blame to institutions. Even if these choices were a product of the shows popularity, they have to shift their process to weed so many of these people out
@@membriashDid y'all watch a tv show called Unreal (stylized as UnREAL)? The show shows producers as having like characters, like almost an equation, that they need to fill in with the participants. Well it is a great show about reality tv and I was wondering if y'all watched it :)
I've been hearing that the men are something like 90% recruited and 10% applicants, whereas the women are a reverse of that. Makes sense why the men don't seem to be as seriously into being in committed relationships that end in marriage.
Is it true that that have to pay a penalty if they don’t get married??? Maybe that’s why they avoid splitting up and shift blame on the other party like Kenneth did…
I’m thinking with Johnny, he either has a latex allergy, or he might have gotten somebody pregnant in the past while using a condom. Those are my two hypotheses. That might be why he is so afraid of getting her knocked up
There are latex-free options available though, and just as save as the regular ones. Also the pill isn't 100% safe either,so how valid is his weird hangup..
Its a competition show, let them compete. They dont owe those women anything. They could have won (and thus get air time) just as easily. Laura is so karen and annoying, he isnt a pig for leaving. Its self preservation.
I hear you, and another commenter had similar perspectives. Im torn because of how truly terrible he is, but also how he could have left without cheating. But I respect your opinion on it
