VIM - Maggie's Party The Shamen - Move Any Mountain (666 Edit) 4 Hero - Mr. Kirk's Nightmare These are a couple I can remember off the top of my head, I'm sure there are plenty of others out there. Good job man, you're a mine of information.
I listened to this with keen ears...the hip hop made in the 80s killed this sample. So many classics were made with this. Rob Bass, EPMD, Chubb Rock, Tuff Crew, Kid and Play all made bangers from this song. Shout out to Lyn Collins and that band that ACTUALLY played this music for real. ONE
Hey Eightminutesupsidedown , you are doin´ an awesome job . It´s great that you are showing what´s possible when some old funk and soul samples are beeing rearrangend. Keep going on.
Interestingly enough (maybe) the break the original song is really short, too short for even the most skilled to cut up effectively, it wasn't until the an extended edit of the drum break appeared on the Ultimate beats and breaks compilation albums that the Think break became the favorite of modern music it is today
1:05 What a Shame.. Big Daddy Kane Said it.. The Prodigy and Daft Punk Sampled it.. and Fergie Interpolated it Before her US National Anthem Performance!
Wait The Fergie's an Nicki's one is familliar... isn't it a interpollation of the lyrics from the song that the prodigy sampled in pandemonium? damn It is! Maybe now make some scooter sampling?
Also Jazzy NYC (Underground edit) from Street Fighter 3: New Generation and Bloody Tears from Castlevania Rap Perfect Selection. And main theme for Action 52 on NES
There were two samples you missed: 1. So Appalled - Kanye West (2010) (The yelping sound is heard throughout the song but it’s more distorted.) 2. Lost In The World - Kanye West (2010) (The drum sounds are added to make the beat in this song.)
