You can literally see her thinking up the lies, she has no clue how ridiculous she looks. As for having a child to stay but not knowing their name WTF!
Her entire testimony was PERJUROUS. The animal control report clearly says that she WAS NOT PRESENT at the time of the attack. So she just lied completely about everything. WOW.
You can literally see on her face that she's coming up with stories. We had a very gentle well behaved dog growing up, she was a mongrel so not sure what she was, but even so at 8 years old we were not allowed to walk her alone. What kind of parent sends a small child out to walk a pitbull. She's very lucky the little boy wasn't badly injured.
She probably liked the father and just put up with the kid. So kid didn’t matter to remember. Some people are messed up. We are watching one of them. XD
I'm failing to see what her defense is... If you let a kid walk your dog, the dog gets away & bites somebody else's dog, what are you fighting against actually?
The best she could do would be to try and reduce the amount of the bill, say it was too much money. But definitely, the liability part of the claim is more than established. She is so screwed.
Why is it so hard for people just to own up to their responsibility? The defendant is obviously making it up as she goes along. It happened, fix it and get on with life.
Looks like too much botox & a bad facelift which is when they cut at the hairline and literally pull the forhead up, tightly and they cut the 'excess skin' then stitch it up into the hairline, so it oulls the eyebrows up higher as well as the eyelids. She doesn't look like she has the money to get a facelift though tbh, so its botched/cheaply done, though, so I have no idea what other procedure produces the upraised eyebrows look... you can mimic it in the mirror by pulling your forehead back by hand, and then pulling up your hairline/scalp up tightly holding it in place to see what i mean... your eyebrows go up higher giving that goofy up-raised/misplaced look 😂
Defendant: " first of all that dog is a therapeutic dog" JJ: " give me a break. Anybody who has a pitbull as a therapeutic dog has to be missing a few screws"
Btw, according to the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) ANY breed of dog or miniature horse can be a Service/ Therapy Animal... it's about training, not genetics.
The plaintiff needs to read the room. Judy was clearly unimpressed with the defendant's story. When that is happening, the last thing you want to do is interrupt.
Especially since she wants the defendant to lie and then have it be refuted later with evidence. By correcting her, she can be protected from incriminating herself.
Something is up with her watching a child and not knowing the child's name. She doesn't know the mother and the father is at work. And she's letting a child walk her dog that doesnt know him...or does he. Hmmmmmmmm.
There was one case where she found in favor of a person who's pit was attacked by another dog, not a pit, that was off leash. The pit was on leash and got pretty roughed up by the other dog. Don't remember which case it was.
Why does the plaintiff feel they need to interject when JJ is grilling the defendant? Also defendant is saying “your honor” as a filler word as she’s making up the entire story.
My son has a service dog. He’s honestly a mutt and the vet thinks he has some pitbull in him. That dog is STRONG!! Even as incredibly well trained as he is, we would NEVER EVER leave a 8 year old in charge of him.
So she decides to babysit an 8 yr old kid for free while his mom is out of state. Hmmm this lady is probably the side chick and was sleeping with the kids dad. That’s y she doesn’t know the kids mom!
She is one of those Karens that claim their dog is a service dog just so they can bring them into stores and restraunts. I can tell just by looking at her
I noticed when it kept getting worse it got for the defendant, the faster she spoke and the wider the eyes became. Amazing they didn't pop out of her head.
"the boy was pulled down" "Will took the leash of my dog" hahaha what a interesting way to completely shift the blame. Howabout: MY DOG pulled the boy down. Howabout: I HADN'T PUT THE COLLAR ON PROPERLY and my dog slipped away from the control of Will.
"A therapy dog" Hahahahahah. Therapy dogs properly trained, are the most well behaved and would never chase another dogs. she is lying through her teeth.
She can’t remember the name ??? Seriously ?? Why the hell was an 8 year old taking the dog for a walk ??? What if car accidents happen ?? This woman is crazy
After having been relentlessly attacked by a Pitbull that degloved my arm and tried to kill me, I feel infuriated to go to have to go to the grocery store and see the same breed masquerading as a service dog. One person's emotion support dog is another person's PTSD trigger.
It's heartbreaking to know that happened to you. My heart dropped. I hope you are doing better and you healed perfectly. 💔 That's horrifying... I've seen a pitbull attack many years ago and it creeps me out when I see people treat them like they are babies. Those things can snap for practically NO REASON. Yes, yes all dogs bite... But... :( Sometimes I suspect people don't really know what a Support Dog is for. Seriously??? Pit bull??? Support dog??? 🤢 What are these people thinking?! Anyway, I'm just a random person trying to say I hope you are doing better and I totally agree with you.
I've been clean pulled and knocked over by a pitbull as a full grown adult. They're INCREDIBLY heavy and strong. That is borderline child neglect to give an 8 year old that large of a dog to control
I feel bad for the Pittie. It probably felt a serious drive to protect the little boy, then snapped when it saw another dog. I hope the pittie didn’t get put down
