If it was solely Ru’s decision, Sapphira would get crowned without a shadow of a doubt. But if fan support is taken into account, Nymphia definitely would have a chance. I think Plane is unfortunately not getting it because queens with villain edits have never snatched the crown yet. If she makes it to the top 2 lip sync, I’m almost certain the person she’s up against is winning.
if she can figure out more of who she is as a person and a drag queen, and just understand when to be shady and then she would be a great all star winner
I think we're overdue for an Asian winner, and since Nymphia is so sickening and actually a fan favorite, the production and RuPaul would jump on the chance to crown Nymphia. Plus this past episode really solidifies her being the defiance of Werstern stereotyped beauty standard, she now represent progressive chance in the Drag community as well as emboying the future of drag.
I think Nymphia is winning because her edit was basically I have been underestimated and can’t get out my own head. She finally broke that barrier as Michelle said in the last episode and that’s what they were waiting for! I feel like Nymphia’s arc isn’t finished until the finale.
@@kitnal4143Funny thing is it was mostly mentioned by other queens in challenges as a joke and there really wasn't much bananas or yellow at the end of those challenges. Even her runway package has less than 50% of banana or yellow.
I think for me Nymphia has the better momentum. She just won and, according to a lot of fans, should have won the makeover. On the other hand, Sapphiras Lipsync win is a bit controversial in the fandom. Sooo i think Sapphira could win in the end, but Nymphia is really close, and personally my winner…
If I do the math to my liking, and act like plane doesn’t exist for the talent show, she should have won the talent show too. And I think a lot of us agree that she should have won the Goth ball. And there was also the makeover which I mean… first of all I like plane and I hope we get a triple crowning because that’s insane and camp. However. Lazy Susan had no lip girl not even chapstick. Plane fixed it on instagram but honestly when it comes down to the fine details that should have been called out because the fans can see it. Also the look was more like twins than family. I see people saying that’s what the challenge asked for but… we’ve seen family resemblance done a lot better than that, they should reflect eachother but not literally like a mirror. Like Nymphia did imo. Back to Nymphia math, we have to subtract the snatch game from that because that was a flop and she should’ve been in the bottom let’s be real. I don’t agree with the idea that her Rusical was subpar, I think the role she was given was stupid but she did the best she could with it. It was safe imo. I think she really got into her head after the snatch game though, and then having the anxiety of a possible writing challenge (or improv) in the future, she really psyched herself out. I think Sapphira is the most well rounded queen on the cast and deserves the win. HOWEVER. I also think my Banana Queen was robbed multiple times and didn’t have the advantage of Ru just liking her like Sapphira. So I also think she deserves the win, but either way, she won the fans.

Let's not forget the "storyline potential" for an AS season. Nymphia was in her head at first, then resolved at last. She was low for snatch game, but won a mini challenge for comedy, getting a small redemption. Shapphira dropped the ball for the makeover and was in her head when she drinked the potion. None got resolution. Plane was and is still shady. I would say that only Nymphia got a "full circle" moment in season 16.

Same! But that’s exactly why I was so excited for Marina’s obviously inevitable win! I was SHOCKED when production had the nerve to eliminate her. So many super talented native Asian queens have been swept aside, queens who 100% deserved the win. Ru edging us with Marina just pissed me off.
same here... Plane is my #1 fav drag at the moment but I want her to return for an all stars with better runway looks and a more solid narrative for the crown. I think now towards the end of the season she should have explored more of her "redemption arc", which would give her a very very good narrative. this last episode kinda cracked her chances of snatching the crown, since they want a queen that can be very vulnerable
I don't like the idea of a bully winning without first a redemption arc that concludes with reconciliation with the victim. This can't happen as they cut Amanda. A lot of LGBTQ+ have experienced bullying and a PJ win is just too disrespectful.

Neither Sapphira nor Nymphia had real storylines while PJ was the entire director of the season, followed by Q being "delusional" and not granting other queens the win. I hate to say it but Sapphira to me is boring - kind of like Sasha was on S15 who had no storyline either other than being the most obvious winner ever - and Nymphia is sometimes too cringe when she speaks in a "dumbed down" way - slowly and overly articulated. Also, PJ is not shady as she says you shit right to your face. We had enough "Ms. Congeniality nice" winners and it's time we finally got a "villain" who redeemed herself in the end as a winner. Let's be real, if subpar Amanda had not been on the Season, PJ would not have even been a villain at all.
I want sapphira to win but I think Nymphia will win just due a fan vote almost every main season winner(social media era of drag) has won the fan vote than later went on to win I think same will happen here. A lot of the fans from what I seen haven’t really connected with sapphira you see that with her follower count on ig(I know this isn’t the end all be all but) compared to plane who has almost 100k more and Nymphia who has 300k more than her I don’t think we will be seeing a sapphira win this time but she will definitely win any all stars season for sure

I am personally rooting for saphira myself but it would be sickening to see another Asian winner in the main series with nymphia after raja won and the quote on quote if you're Asian you're destined to do bad on drag race curse being broken
It's not that Asian contestants are bad. It's that the producers refuse to create winner storylines for them. It IS reality TV so the outcome we see is determined by the production team. Who obviously don't want Asian winners.
This year is really the year of Asian winners/runner-ups. We have Dragula, UKvsTW, a 1st runner up in the Canada's franchise, and now possibily another winner in the main show.
Need to mention Plane is a production dream! they need her for all stars and then VS the world and then All winners. Plane is going to be on our screens for a long time.
I think Nymphia has the biggest reputation of being “robbed” within the fandom out of the three. Although her being “robbed” for the makeover and goth challenge is rly up to the Individual’s taste (I would have chosen her to win the goth challenge and Q the makeover), in my mind Nymphia absolutely should won the talent show because we all know that was the best of the night but Plane screwed her over.
Sapphira will win i think. Xunami miss congeniality. Maybe Plasma qinning the golden boot and of course either Mhiya, Mirage or Morphine the lalaparuza.
Amanda I’m sure will be getting the golden boot 90% of her outfits looked like something a golden boot winner would get. The only good looks she had was the Michelle look and her Cher look. The rest were a no.
why is everyone acting like Sapphira ate Plane and Nymphia up? She’s got the same track record as Plane and Nymphia only has one win less than those two but also doesn’t have a bottom placement like they do. All four of them are pretty much on par with one another lol

As a RPDR supporter from Season 1, Episode 1, we need to get back the reality of DRAG and not be so easily impressed by the gimmicks. I love the quirkiness of Nymphia, but Sapphira is the best all-around queen on this season. She has shown she can deliver, without the gimmicks and without putting other people down.

Nymphia has by far the most fan support and we haven't seen her lipsync so she could be a wild card, like Sasha or even Yvie in the final lipsync. Sapphira is probably the most well rounded and Ru's favourite to win but doesnt have as much support as Nymphia, but she could dominate the finale lipsync with just her face. I love the Top 3 and my personal pick is Sapphira, I just fell in love with her personality and drag so much. This TOP 3 is one of strongest ever, no joke, I would be happy with any outcome. Even though some people hated on Plane Jane, I would hardly call her start “weak”. She won the first challenge and was then either safe or high from then to her next win. I really saw Plane as a contender up until the podcast - when Ru said Plane can’t brand herself because she doesn’t know herself yet, that told me all I needed to know. If Ru doesn’t see her brand and views her as still blooming, then Ru plans to save her for an All Stars “fully bloomed” story line in a few years.
Tbh PJ in my opinion shouldn't have half her wins, challenge wise Nymphia won the talent show, and Nymphia won the makeover and snatch game she was basically the only choice and the double in with sapphira could've easily gone to only sapphira
@@walkableboat3343 i agree that Nymphia should have been in the top 2 with PJ in the first episode, but we have no way of knowing how that lip sync would have gone - or if she even would have gotten the second spot had PJ voted differently, as PJ was not the only queen to move her down lower as evidenced by Geneva being the other top. Assuming she made it to the second top spot that week, we’d still have the lip sync with which to contend and that still might have gone to PJ. That said, I can only assume you’re trolling her. If you expect me to believe that you think PJ was unjustly given NYMPHIA’S Snatch Game win, you’ve been sucking down way too many House of Love cocktail way too fast. That Nymphia was not made to lipsync after that Jane Goodall mess was the primary evidence for rigga morris, shenaniganis, and all-around bamboozlery in season 16.
Whenever I think about who will win, I look at past winners. So this is how I see it Sapphira would be a Bianca Del Rio (Perfect and flawless) Plane Jane would be Violet (Shady but really good) Nymphia would be Willow pill (Quirky and Unique)
Nymphia reminds me of Symone (same struggles), Plane reminds me of Violet and Bianca (same neeeerve) but Saphira... Reminds me of S7 Pearl but with more budget haha So...
Coming to the season rooting for Nymphia. Ending the season REALLY wanting Plane Jane to win. But let's be real, Sapphira is highly likely to snatch the crown.
i think with nymphia, there’s a handful of challenges that she could have or even should have won where i think sapphira and plane got the wins they deserved. Thinking about the talent show, goth design, and makeovers, nymphia has had incredibly strong moments outside of her wins that could’ve easily put her ahead in track record if production wanted it
A controversial take that will make people angy, but imo it seems like people aren’t actively loving sapphira. Instead, they’ve been conditioned by drag race to believe her personality and style is the CORRECT form of drag, and should just win because of that despite her not really bringing anything particularly unique and/or exciting to the table. When people say she’ll win it sounds more like ‘duh she should win cause that’s what the format of the show has made us expect’. Personally, im rootin and tootin for nymphia despite the show giving her this weird edit as if she was failing the entire time even though she could’ve absolutely won more than 3 challenges. I’d love some more cultural diversity in drag race winners, she’s certainly unique bringing new things to the table, and i expect her to be a much better lip syncer than Sapphira Crystal based on what I’ve seen of both their performances… unless the lip sync for the crown is something tailored specifically for sapphira’s lip sync style like ‘old McDonald had a farm’.
All this said, I think Sapphira has shown us all she’s got in the lipsyncing department. I’m really hoping Nymphia snatches the crown and eats Sapphira up comes finale night.

@@beebeedeeieIdk, on paper Morphine did give a more energetic lipsync but Sapphira had a little more build-up and momentum in the lipsync. But regardless, I think track record should be taken into consideration as late as the final 5!

You can’t use “it is what it is” to follow up a legitimately false statement😭 And you’re comparing apples to oranges with Plasma’s elimination, because Mhi’Ya mopped the floor with that lipsync, not to mention it was midway through the season. Compare that to a much closer lipsync in the final 5 with a queen with 4 wins vs a queen with 4 bottoms and…well…the choice is clear!

People keep saying she has one Btm placement when technically its 2. TECHNICALLY, Nymphia has been saved out of the Btm 2 several times, and not just with the immunity portion

The fact that Nymphia’s confession count was so low throughout the season (in the Rusical episode she got NO CONFESSIONALS), I’d say she has less of chance of winning than Sapphira who has been present in the edit throughout. It really is a shame because they could have showed so much more of her yet they didn’t. From what I can see online, Nymphia has more fan support than Sapphira though.
I think the producers gave Nymphia a runner up edit when they ended filming the Season many months ago, but when It started to be broadcasted, they kinda changed their Mind after seeing How much support and genuíne love Nymphia gets, so now I think they are prepared to Crown her or Sapahira, It really depends of the last Challenge. There were some weeks where the preview of the weekly Episodes was delayed in one day here on RU-vid. I think It happened thrice or four times this season. So I have a feeling this happened because production did a "last hour" modifications on the Episodes... Maybe to include more of some queen hehe 😏 Which one It was is a mistery haha Nymphia is not a confessionary boss indeed. But ALL the rest screams drag Race Winner to me =P
I honestly loved Nymphia's confessionals, I started watching the season when 5 episodes had already been released, I waited until the 6th to watch her again, only for her to have 0 screentime lmao I was so sad
I’m team Nymphia💛 I think she is so unique and fashion forward… I see the future of drag in her. But I also really like Sapphira, she is very talented and charismatic. Both are deserving of the crown imo
Sapphira as a contestant is a lot more well rounded than Nymphia and Plane. Earlier in the season, I would have loved to see a double crowning between Sapphira and Nymphia. However, when it comes to The Next Drag Superstar, the title would likely be best held by the Queen Sapphira. Would have loved to see Q in this top 3 though
I used to see Plane winning because of her storyline, and maybe they'll pull a curveball and let a villain win. But after the last challenge which supposed to serve as the knot that ties her story throughout the season, she fumbled hard. Nymphia may be succesful in the book challenge, but a bit too late in terms of storyline. Sapphira is the only one succesful in both aspects and Ru really likes her. Of which I don't really mind because this is a powerful Top 3 we've had in a while. I don't mind any of them taking the crown. ❤
i'm new 2 drag race (started watching at s15), so i'm wondering - does the amount of screentime each queen get also correlate with how they do in the challenge?
The edit will generally focus more on the top and bottom queens of the week, so I’d say yes. It’s more difficult late in the season, but production is very obvious about it early in the season
Nymphia will be great for allstars. Sapphira and Plane are most versatile in challenges, and Nymphia imo hasn’t been funny in acting challenges while the other two have been excellent in almost everything else
I love Nymphia's uniqueness, she’s just something we haven’t seen before, however I think Sapphira killed it every single episode, despite her destroying the competition she was humble and likeable, Plane was great, but not that likeable in the first episodes. I think Sapphira deserves it more out of anyone. I still want Nymphia to win tho 🙃

im actually torn on this years winner even thought its most likely sapphira… nymphia is just my personal fav (and also a fan favorite) but shes SO refreshing. theres just so many factors for me: shes a runway powerhouse, shes a mother of many in taiwan, she has a strong brand, and shes just unique in general! i believe she couldve won more challenges and that alone could support a nymphia crowning for how well she has been doing. i think it would be a good surprise for her to take it as ive seen many people have said. i would be fine with sapphira taking the crown bc shes been dominating, has shown vulnerability, and i feel like rupaul loves her the most. she has a grand winner energy and the win would be well deserved. in conclusion, double crowning (or its just my nymphia bias peeking thru) 😍

I don’t like comparing queens but, and I’m writing this just as you have started talking about it lol but Sapphira gives of the ‘mother’ of the group which is a very similar to Sasha who just won, and Nymphia gives of Anetra vibes who also just had a win. But maybe I just want Plane Jane to win haha
I feel like I did during s08, I don't care who wins tbh, I love all three of them. I think Sapphira is going to win, but I really want a villain to win a season so I am slightly more team Plane. But all three of them a great and I am happy are the finalists.
Honestly any one of them could win there is no obvious winner this season which I like. I love all 3 of them they were the strongest queens of this season. Any of them could win and i could be like yeah I agree. Like a weakness for Sapphira and plane is we’ve seen them both lipsync 2-3 times either for wins or being in the bttm while Nymphia we haven’t seen lipsync for her life but we know she can perform bc of the girl group challenge. So if there is a lipsync for the crown (which I hope not) Nymphia could slay that final lipsync which would get her the win. Sapphira could win just bc it looks like Ru really endears Sapphira.

Team Sapphira but Nymphia is a close one for me! I just love love love both and either winning would be gagging since Sapphira has a "curse" while Nymphia Wind would be the first asian winner in a long time.
did we watch the same show? i dont see nobody is wanting sapphira to win. they just respect her. she has fans but she is not a “strong fanbase” queen. nymphia has that fanbase, and what i see is plane also has that fanbase. they gave stories to the show, unlike sapphira… she is so likeable and well-organized queen, but doesnt scream a winner to me.
Sapphira deserves to win period point blank yea it’s also about who the fans love and the final performance but she was the strongest competitor this season and in general a top 5 strongest competitors( not AS seasons) and they’ve all won idc what nobody say give that girl her crown she won 4 maxis and 4 minis. She was in the top or won 10 episodes out of 14 !! Like she’s the clear winner
You a Stan. Sapphira is polished but jaded. She's limited in her lipsynching talents and on the fly decisions. Although she can sing, show off gowns and make people laugh, I don't see her as the future of drag. Between Plane and Nymphia(who should've won the talent show, and possibly won the stand-up challenge and/or the make over challenge, placing her at between 4 to 6 deserved wins, Sapphira with 3 to 5, and Plane, with 2 to 5) Nymphia has better runways, dancing skills, sewing skills, and make up skills. Plane is more comedic and has better acting skills although Nymphia's aren't bad. All together, Nymphia slightly edges out both in all around talent, and being a fresh breath of drag air, something which Sapphira lacks, and having great fashion sense, something plane Jane falls behind at. Nymphia also hasn't lipsynched yet for a whole song, while plane and Sapphira have, meaning she has more moves to show. Sorry but the cards aren't entirely in Sapphira's favor 🤷. It's fine, you'll get over it.

lowkey thought its going to be Nymphia for the longest time, but nymphia has really faded into the background and we barely saw any personality and growth from her, so I think she lost her momentum.. its def. Saphira. I think Nymphia has a similar run like Algeria.. very strong at the beginning but than faded in the last half of the Season.
I think nymphia is more like gigi goode, strong in the beginning, have a weaker run in the middle and gain strong momentum towards the end, both same fashion queen and also fan favorite, this season is gonna be mind blowing, we can’t predict the exact winner like last season, season 15 was made for SASHA the moment she walked to the werkroom
I think it is going to come down to Sapphira and Plane. They have the best track records and Sapphira is the judges pick and Plane has the best story/arc throughout the season. Nymphia is the fan favorite so they will save her for maybe the next All Stars. Sapphira will win and Plane will come back for a future All Stars with Amanda Tori Meating
I feel like back to back winners with the same vibe is more of a rule then a curse. They need the winner to make money for WOW, MTV, & Voss while touring, and a show that feels fresh will just make more money
i don't think Sapphira is that similar to Sasha... she's black, a singer, not trans, and not exactly a pageant queen either. Just because they're in their 30s and give mother energy doesn't really hurt Sapphira's chances.

Nymphia 5 wins and 0 bottom placements.

The narrative arc of Nymphia doesn't work, because she never grows and lacks faith in her own talent. Nymphia started kooky and insecure, and finished kooky and insecure. I agree she should've won 5 challenges, but she is SO DIFFERENT from literally every other winner from a RuPaul season.
