Who Should YOU Invest In In Wuthering Waves? 

Got new info on Yangyang testing, B tier for sure sadly. S6 Danjin still fire, so many damage buffs. Baizi also had new testing done, her buffs last MUCH longer than we initially thought (the 36 seconds not just 6) so she is a solid A tier. I'll be doing another come 1.2

@@CashySwanson S6 Danjin has roughly the same DPS as an S0 perma pool 5* when on Havoc set. She has some support in her S6 and outro, but she's 100% powercrept by the very next Havoc subdps. As a main DPS she's already powercrept by S3 Havoc Rover, and is bound to only go worse If it wasnt for Camilla being right around the corner i wouldnt mind the A tier, but as such i wouldnt say she's a safe long term investement. I would have her B tier for now, and A tier in 1.2 if Camilla ends up being a main DPS

It's hillarious but makes total sense cuz Yuanwu is only providing stacks for Jinhsi's forte. Yuanwu's own damage is not significant enough to justify investment

Taoqi isn't as good for actually clearing, and Yuanwu doesn't even need to be invested in at all for Jinhsi team, so I'd say it still stands

Taoqi not that good since her rotation bad at charging Concerto But Yuanwu is the best even at Lvl1, Yinlin 2nd best because dmg she has and Mortefi need S4 and better use him for Jiyan or other heavy atk user

@@manyblock4192 Taoqi + discord has a chance at least but yes, still slow. I personally would avoid running her if I had a S5 Yuanwu so HE could shield, and instead run probably veyrina for her atk buffs and attribute amp, heals, and ult doing off field damage of her attribute as well. Less damage output than taoqi's amp but still very solid

For sure! Even like Taoqi or Yuanwu are TOTALLY capable of end game content they are just a bit slow to deal their damage output and don't have amazing support utility when invested in (lvl 40 or so with unleveled echoes is plenty ngl)

Playing Calcharo means knowing a boss's "Burst Window" where you can SAFELY ult into it, but some bosses dont have big enough of one, or take too long to get there, so yeah its a bit awkward sadly

Its an investement tier list. They dont assess the current meta but how well each char is gonna age. "Jinshi is more prone to powercreep than Verina" is how you should look at it. Yanwu is done for next patch Spectro Rover is not "very good". No coordinated, no buffs, yes the damage will tank *massively.* Yuanwu + Taoqi/Mortefi is still miles better short term Jianxin has 0 field time when played optimally, just like Yuanwu. You dont use every part of her kit, you just Ult, Auto, Echo, and Swap. Her main value comes from the CC in AoE floors, and she's unlikely to be powercrept anytime soon in that regard Baizhi is not nearly as good as Verina. She needs 7-8s of field time to proc concerto when Verina needs 2.7s at end game. I do think she'll age better than what they assess given her S6 tho, but yeah

@@Jugement For jinhsi, it's not too easy to powercreep her.. many people just say "omg no jiyan is better because of consistent dmg" but they have no idea that this game is different from genshin.. you see a character, who doesn't rely on ult but just coordinated attacks, and have very short field time while dealing dmg.. is very hard to powercreep and can be used very well even if it's powercreeped unlike some character that already been in the game or are upcoming who heavily relys on ult.. Spectro rover + yuanwu can clear the middle tower and I've done it multiple times.. you need to know how good it is when you actually use it properly.. Jianxin's er cost is a damn 175 right? And even if she have 0 field time.. you will ult with her in like every 2nd-3rd rotation.. so what's the point of taking her? Also she's damn useless against middle tower or lvl 90 parts in tower as well as hologram.. she's nowhere near as good as verina.. I like to use baizhi over her who can atleast give a proper sustain lol.. Yuanwu might be powercreeped in the patch but it's still a damn 50 days left.. until then you need someone to use your jinhsi.. and when you're talking about investing in yuanwu, it's just get his 3rd skill where your range of circle will be high and it's done... You don't really have to invest on every character equally, every character needs a different amount of investment for their teams... I think this tier list is shit, and I've seen his another video, his calcs for a team dps was dumb.. imagine saying calcharo's dps is 32k and yinlin's 58k so their total dps is 90k when in actual it's just 38k total team dps lol.. That's why I never recommend anyone watch his videos, he talks too much nonsense

@@Murasaki897 The point of taking her is to do exactly that. Just group and have her proc Healing Set. In AoE floors where she belong one ult every two rotation is more than fine, and still brings more value than most units for the field time she takes. Yanwu and Spectro rover are usable, just not the best, and as such not technically good investments. The former also fills his current niche with 0 investment whatsoever, and as such even until then, is also... a bad investment ;) I don't know this guy much and as such cant vouch for everything he ever said, but overall aside from a few points I listed in another comment, I think his tierlist is mostly on point when it comes to aging

@@Jugement you're not even getting it.. if we are talking about lower floor and she have 0 field time.. doesn't that mean she just have nothing with investment? Just use Er Er 3 cost.. and then level her up to just 50 and then you can easily go fine.. she's not even an investment in my eyes.. I've her at lvl 40 and I still did 30/30 by using her in the left and right sides 2-3 floors.. Spectro rover and Yuanwu is good because if you're someone who has jiyan and calcaro and you're using them in left and right.. you can easily use that team and do it in the middle tower.. also all you need is spectro roverS6 with some decent moonlight set to outro again and again.. I've seen the video properly and I know how misleading it could be.. you won't have a healer character upcoming until 1.3 coming so you'll need a proper healer for tower aix and heron.. And until then if you're thinking "nah I'll wait till new healer comes" then it's your choice.. for me i invested my characters well and doing 30/30 on tower as well as beating holograms. And I'm very satisfied with it

You'll either have to go with spectro rover or have to go with baizhi.. i use havoc rover for my tower so i built my baizhi.. and she is just fine

Rover across all elements because they will be the most permanently viable character over time and most worth lvl 90 rn

"Main DPS", Sanhua is great but her kit has a lot of downtime due to cool downs on ult and skill so she plays better as a subbed-burst DPS on quick swap teams is all I meant. Yes, Sanhua is BETTER than lingyang, but for the role lingyang is prolly the only character RN that even wants the glacio set lol

if you have her weapon id grab jinhsi, she is really strong. her weapon is such a good fit to her kit you can even use 1 atk% 3 cost echo, its actually more optimal this way (substat depending), you will blow everything up. value to account matters not in the face of waifu, always remember that.

I have an s6 aalto, yangyang and chixia. If we look at it objectively, which character is the best main dps character, keeping in mind that they are all s6.

@@musicah8496 Chixia. Aalto is great and Yangyang is super fun and an amazing grouper but S6 Chixia is nearly equivalent to a S0~2 Encore but much safer against harder enemies + better range.

​@@CashySwansonah, so it will be between her and yangyang for the lower levels for toa for me. I have jinhsi and jiyan as a main dps and yinlin as a sub dps. They are def enough right now for me along with havoc rover. I just need change li and I'm all set for a while 😂

Shes literally the 3rd best main DPS in the curent meta, and the best DPS option in the permanant pool, of course she isn't trash
