She’s almost always vocally perfect… Like I don’t think I’ve ever really heard her do anything bad. The Wizard and I cover frustrated me but only because I knew it was to stay on brand I really wanted to hear her sing it as a musical theatre song because she would shock everyone. She was serving soundtrack version, and that’s valid.. can’t say I would have made a different move.

This is one EXHAUSTING song to sing! In a lot of these clips with the second climax, the singers would have been singing for 5 minutes straight already!! A lot of vocal stamina is required for this song (and I think a lot of people overlook that)

You should watch her live performance of IACBTM on her Falling Into You Montreal concert. She sang the song start to finish. You be the one exhausted from watching her sing it live for 7 minutes! Celine's endurance and breath control!

Would have been amazing if you could have looked at the original version by the pandora’s box project. I found myself liking that version more as I feel the original sounds more raw and heartfelt, just my opinion though. Worth checking out either way

Trying to record the best possible cover of this song lol. Taking notes. The fact that people I considered better than me are sometimes struggling a little on similar notes/words/phrases makes me feel sooo much better. All of these are honestly so great in their own way. The “baby baby baby”, into the chorus is most fun and also the hardest for me to nail exactly the way I want to hear…(and I assume everyone lives for that part too lol) I blow flat on some of the C’s but am totally chill on an E’s….Seems like it’s time to mix lower… Oof. I know you’re *supposed to mix around an A* but I got permission to go up to Bb by at coach and I really took that concept too far. Lol. I have a lot of work ahead…eek.

I feel like Celine's works so well because of the rasp. It makes it have a soft rock edge to it. Too many do it too smoothly (like Leah Michelle) when it's supposed to be almost like a cry. I feel like of these Ariana's was the closest to getting the right feel of the song by far. Jeremy Jordan's is really impressive though. Armpit Guy was great too lol

Everyone was great, but to me Ariana's tone is simply unmatched. She might not have the best technique among the singers in this video, but her tone makes up for that and really makes her stand out

I like when people stick to them the original type of format because it means that they understand the assignment, But when they start switching things up and doing it too much it kinda destroys the song for me in my opinion. Jim Steinman and Pandora's Box Meatloaf was desperate for this song before anyone ever heard it but Jim said I wrote it for a female singer. Not long after celine sang it meatloaf released it. They both smashed it and made it there own in my opinion. So yeah Celine stole it from meatloafs hands

Nice video! I know the video is about the climax. But I think is the type of song that is so much more than the high notes. I mean doing the verses great and telling the story than nailing the high notes is more important and will make the song great anyway, imo. Most of Jim Steinman's songs tells a story and should always be listened to in its full length like It's all coming back to me that clocks in around the 9 minute mark if I remember correct. Listen to the radio versions or shorter versions in general don't make Steinman's songs any justice at all.
