Who is Manchester City's new signing Claudio Echeverri? Pep Guardiola has paid €25m for the 18-year-old wonderkid from River Plate, but why? And is he actually the Next Lionel Messi
You mean foden who has won a trophy for every 16 matches he has played. If you dont know what you are talking about then I'd keep quite. It might make you look less of a clown, but i doubt it. CLOWN. @gangstapikachu7305
I remember when Dybala was the next Messi, I wish the media and fans would stop giving players titles like that no player should want to be the next anyone they should want to be original
Even Messi needed support sometimes. People forget that Messi played with Ronaldinho and Zlatan at the start. You also don't mention Messi's Barcelona without bringing up the trio of Messi, Suarez and Neymar. Sure Messi's Barcelona without Suarez and Neymar was still functional due to them having Messi, but with Neymar and Suarez in the squad. They were different gravy
They called Giovanni Lo Celso "the next messi". Look, GLC is a top player and probably one of the best players in the world at what he does.... but there's levels to this game
@@adamapogchamp3867 I disagree. He has a unique profile He's one of the few nifty CAMs who can pass well and dribble with ease. Very technically gifted and loves an outside boot pass. Not saying he's spectacular but it's obvious that he has a natural gift. Not a tottenham fan but I'm just impartial... only people who understand football can appreciate what he does.
They didn't try to get him because they knew they wouldn't get him. When clubs with endless money like Man City take part in such a race, you can give up
There isnt anyway that Alvarez is gonna be benched. This kid cant handle the premier League's physicality. Alvarez has been even more phenomenal than klaudio.
Is it just me or anyone else thinks that Oscar Bobb's reflex time is amazing? He scored a Croqueta last season and today's goal is not easy to score with all those moves mixed and defenders being right in front of him.
Imagine buying him then having to bench him cause you have world stars in your squad at the moment….its better to loan him out so he can keep developing into a star player not just a prospect with potential…so why not leave him where he is flourishing?
Here is the problem with players going from 10 to 100 from a club like Boca Juniors to Manchester City, if all the clubs are chasing down this player then many clubs will bid in up to 50M Euros, which for some players like Phillipe Coutinho and Dele Alli, is just only money matters and they are chasing down money instead of passion, look up to Lionel Messi and Marco Reus and Luka Modric. Even with the paycuts they stayed at their club Barcelona, BVB and Real Madrid.
The problem of this promises is that the midia and the fans treat his potential too high bro. Like, calling promises "the next messi" , "the next ronaldo" and things like that. Like bro, just let the kid play, and we'll see if he's that good. No one can replace someone, only build their own name
"They are calling him the next messi" Have we not learn our lesson? Calling them like that puts a lot of pressure on the boy AND affects his mental health
Yeah… it’s smart. The player needs more experience and he won’t get enough playing time at city. Signed him so no one else can and once he’s ready or if he’s ever ready, then he will come back to City’s main team and get playing time.
What ElPollito said and I'm also fairly certain it's to do with his age too, he's too young to sign for city this season, so is being loaned back. Not sure how but its a factor iirc
Same thing happened with Gabriel Jesus too, because he did not want to leave Palmeras until they won the first league title in a long time . He could stay and help them do that, and they did. Totally normal situation bro.
Stop calling people "the next Messi". First, it's disrespectful for Messi, it puts extra pressure on them, and lastly, they deserve the respect to their name
