Introducing a new format to the channel, here is a full run of Donald Fear conquering the million pounds, being the first to do so under Jeremy Clackson!!!
....not only is he a decent chap, he's also the sort of teacher you would have remembered at school. happy for him and his family, good stuff happening to good people.
@@henrysmith883Feel like the producers would appreciate "that one person" who just nails the questions with zero hesitation. If anything it makes for some good tele and the run is memorable.
Well done Donald, these are the people we should be celebrating and not the vacuous social media influencers and scammers! Inspirational! Your students are privileged to have you as a teacher.
I actually chuckled when the final question was History, and then he goes, "I actually taught Piracy, " and i burst out with some combination of a shriek and an LOL. I mean, what are the odds!!!!
This episode has entertained me many times. Donald Fear was brilliant and was lucky with the questions. Clarkson was great and displayed genuine emotion. Changed my mind about the guy. I also read up about Blackbeard. Win Win Win!
From Ohio, USA here… really great job, sir! Enjoyable and much respect for being a teacher! I hope you teachers in the UK get paid more than American teachers do… no American teacher gets paid enough.
I remember watching this episode when it aired and I must say, it was a very exciting and surreal moment seeing Donald Fear win the Million. Brilliant viewing.
Good evening to all of my viewers, I have done a lot of thinking, this channel is called ITV Game Shows, so I decided to include more ITV shows, especially after some of my viewers asked for this.
The last 4 questions were incredibly hard, I'm sure the contestant got quite lucky there to have that knowledge, as he said himself... but doesn't take anything away from the win, incredible, seems like a great guy as well, congrats!
Damn i really should have listen more closely to my history teacher back in the day, congratulations Mr Fear! Very proud of you and couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!
I played along to see how I’d do and got more than half of these right. A lot of these questions you could work out by a process of elimination rather than just knowing it. I agree that a lot of these could be harder
14:45 Jeremy missed a golden opportunity to say “I went on the internet this week and I found this..” after he said “It’s like sitting next to the internet in a pink shirt.”
Yeah but does he know why I've got a drivetrain engine light on my 5 series... no.. and neither do I! See.. he's not all clued up to what he thinks he is. tbf... a proper champ. 👍👍👍
This man is almost like the UK version of John Carpenter. Got through the whole game only using one lifeline (well Carpenter did to greet his dad, so it's pretty much none)
So, Cinderella is a Disney character now? Even if you want want to conveniently disregard the Greeks and the French, give a bit of credit to Grimms brothers, will you?
The Transformers toys were "just coming out". Mate they've been around since the 80's. I am 27 and I used to watch reruns of the original TV series in the early 2000's and when the Live Action movie came out I had a Top Trumps card deck based on the movie
this episode was most likely taped sometime near the beginning of covid (note the plexiglass between the FF contestants, and the lack of audience). Imagine how different things would've looked for Donald with a studio audience
What name is given to the revolving belt machinery in an airport that delivers checked luggage from the plane to baggage reclaim? A) Hangar B) Terminal C) Concourse D) Carousel D) Carousel
Which Disney character famously leaves a glass slipper behind at a royal ball? A) Pocahontas B) Sleeping Beauty C) Cinderella D) Elsa C) Cinderella Final Answer Jeremy
Dunno.. When watching older episodes with Chris Tarrant I feel like I'm a part of the show. With Jeremy Clarkson, all I see is the guy who got fired from Top Gear for being a diva douchebag...
I look at this and right out of the gate knew the final answer to the question what pirate died in battle off the coast of at the time colony of North Carolina. I lived near Outer Banks in Currituck County and Edward Teach aka Blackbeard died off coast and had a home in Bath , NC a protected inlet river out of massive Pamlico Sound
I think there is a slight error in the answers to the £32,000 question. Lent actually lasts for 46 days (Ash Wednesday to the day before Easter Sunday). The '40 days' that people (including both Donald and Jeremy) refer to doesn't include the 6 Sundays that occur during the Lent period. Having said that, this has no effect on the 'correct' answer to the question. Congratulations to Donald, who was calm throughout, didn't dilly-dally over any questions and used his 50-50 very wisely, having already eliminated two of the options, hoping that that one of them would remain after the 50-50. I get so frustrated people who don't have a clue about an answer, use their 50-50, then still spend too long dithering before taking the money. Donald's performance was a joy to watch.
@@markymark443 I disagree. If you really haven't got a clue about the answer and the stakes are high, then there really is no point. If the question was for over £20,000 and I had no idea (eg I don't know much about the British Monarchy, so let's say the question was 'in which year did Queen Anne die' and all of the options are between 1400 and 1850), then I know that whichever two options are left, I still won't know. It's all very well spending a lot of time thinking when there are 4 options, but when contestants say they haven't got a clue, then go for 50/50 because they 'think they should because it's pointless to leave a lifeline', but still spend ages wondering about the two remaining options before taking the money, it's painful to watch. If, however, one of the options can be ruled out straight away, that's a different story. With the question I posed about Queen Anne, if one of the options was later than 1900, it would be worth me going for 50/50 because I know she died before 1900. I hope that the post-1900 date remains as an option, in which case, I'll know that it's the other answer. But if the 50-50 takes away the post-1900 date so I'm left with two equally viable ones, what's the point in spending ages poring over them before deciding to take the money?
I don't really care for the custom safety net change, having the constant reminder seems annoying. But maybe it plays better if you didnt grow up with the 32k target. If I went on, I'd keep it for the 32k, it's too ingrained in me.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy! Pity it was in an empty studio, but I guess he won't be caring. As he says - it depends how the questions fall. This is the 3rd time I've known a whole run - other times I'd be knocked out at £2000 with a question about boy bands...
I personally think all the questions were relatively manageable, especially by a process of elimination. I got most by doing that. In his case, I guess it was serendipity, as most questions were in his area of specialisation and those that weren't he had had some experience, like having been to tue Caribbean etc. All the same, he did well.
Talk about the questions falling right??....where were the garbage questions....Taylor Swift stuff...football stuff...thats the crap that trips them up...maybe not this guy in fairness
