I think the last episode of this series was also fantastic. Sashinator0 has its content in parts. The show ended with two female six figure winners back to back, with $125k each.
@@Computerman859 That maybe so, but Aurko and Leo were the last two players on the original primetime version to win $250,000 each, and nobody made it past $500,000 question after Ed Toutant’s top prize win. So I think this was the last TRULY fantastic episode.
This episode was already uploaded by WWTBAMclassics in 2020 as an ABC broadcast. It truly was a "last hurrah" (per part of that RU-vid video description).
It's a shame that by this time it was too much late to change ABC executives' minds about cancelling the primetime show, because this great episode should have served as a strong argument to keep it going.
All that would matter is the ratings though, wouldn't matter if it didn't bring them up. The overabundance of WWTBAM episodes every day of the week at one point already felt a bit like someone just wanted to give out as much money as possible. #WWTBAM4All
