There’s a story behind Regis’s tie. Right before taping, the senior producer told us the episode we were in would air on the 31st not the 30th. I immediately told her we needed to go back to wardrobe. She looked at me oddly and asked why. I said, Because it’s Halloween and we should all be wearing masks or something. Her eyes went wide, and she whisked Regis back to wardrobe. When he reappeared his white shirt was black and his blue tie was orange. She pulled me aside as we headed to our contestant seats and said, Thanks. Good catch… Alex Aldrich

Thank you for that behind the scenes tidbit...it's always lovely to have past contestants talk about their experiences on the show. Also, congratulations on your win!

Episode Highlights: -Regis' perfectly orange Halloween tie (and an uncalled contestant, Bruce Duboff, wearing a money tie) -$250k was given away in one night between two male contestants. The first $64k question (as well as $125k question prior to lifeline selection) were in fact almost perfect (if you pay attention to the speed of the music). That contestant, Alex, blazed through most of his questions without a lifeline, which was impressive (as with quite a few of these games). Both players used 50:50 on question 11. -Music error @ 27:16 -I got a kick out of the final contestant in this episode's roster for the next episode (shown at 40:00) because the name immediately reminded me of John Michael Higgins, who has hosted GSN original series within the past five years and also made a cameo in films such as "Best in Show" and "Pitch Perfect" as well as ads for dog products and insurance from Physicians Mutual. This person also has quite the talent and has kept the humor clean and family friendly.
