And the rulers and leader can not be the representative of their citizens and subjects. So I know that mist of the real common sense Arabs think and feel good things for Turks and so do logical Turks. as a human and we Turks may made some mistake in history. nobody is perfect so do the politics.
I studied about "osmania khilafat" in my school when i was a child there was a chapter of ottoman empire we also called that "khilafat e usmaniya" Indian students are learning about this empire in school.

It was never called an "empire". It was officially called Devlet-i Aliye-i Osmaniyye in another words the Supreme Ottoman State. It was a state not to rule people but a state to serve people.

@@humblebee8334 As far as I know it comes from the name Uthman in Arabic, but it seems Turks found it more comfortable to say 'Osman' and the Europeans found it more comfortable to say 'Ottoman' instead of 'Osman'. Some people are just not used to pronouncing certain foreign letters in their language, or are just not used to the original pronunciation. Here in Bulgaria where I'm from, people don't say Byzantine Empire for example and pronounce it 'Византийска империа' (Vizantian Empire(in Bulgarian the 'B' is pronounced as a 'V')) even though I think its was originaly pronounced with a B the way English speakers pronounce it today. In America for example some people pronounce the name of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan incorrectly and say 'Resep' instead of 'Rejep' (In Turkish the C is pronounced as a J). And pronounce the final name as Erdogan instead of Erdoğan (in Turkish there is a soft G letter similar or maybe the same as the Arabic Ghain which comes from the larynx or throat). More importantly, people pronounce the name of Allah SWT wrong and say 'Ala' while this is something that should be easily fixable and doesn't require advanced training in foreign languages. This is just some of what I know on the subject and I could be wrong on something so double-check everything to be on the safe side. Allah knows best.
@@WowYaska 100% correct. In some Arabic dialects, the th sound is closer to t in Othman, whereas in others the th is closer to an s. The example of Recep is interesting because it's like the Arabic Rajab. Hence in Turkish the c is pronounced like j in English.

As a Muslim Travel Vlogger and history lover, it is amazing to learn about our past. When I visited Hungary to make videos I was amazed to find out that, In 1541 Ottoman army ( I think Sultan Suleiman was in change then) took over Budapest for over 150 years. The Buda castle we see today was under Islamic troops control during that time, it was attacked a few times by different European armies but couldn't shake the Muslim control. I assume that's when the migration of Turkish people started happening and you see the result everywhere in Hungary today.
It's a great series. Rituals may be different but faith no different fro. Protestant Beliefs such as feed the hungry, clothe the nake.. Ertugrul showed respect for other faiths. Great series can't wait for Kurulus-osman on Netflix.

We should praise Muslims that did good, not entire empires as they were always flawed. This empire, like all, wasn't Islamic but merely a human one with human greed. Many whom held power in the ottoman empire acted out against Islam entirely, including enslaving, invading and oppressing people where they went. Point is islam's name shouldn't be attached to everything someone muslim does, as then you'll be causing people to view ALL their actions as islamic when they weren't which in turn causes doubts about Islam.

The ottomans were not different than Arab caliphates they spread Islam to Europe and fought of the crusaders. There was even a time Kaaba 🕋 was demolished by Islamic leaders just to fight against a political leader and crucify him in front of the gates of Makkah if that is not against Islam I don’t know what it but never seen a scholar say that leadership was not Islamic.
@@AS-jy6pf Thats my point....all creations by humans like empires are flawed and should never be known as islamic ESPECIALLY when their actions are against islam, but rather by their people of origin instead. Its somewhat a race card as any middle-eastern nations history is automatically equated to being an ideally perfect and pure islamic empire whereas others, like indias, asias, etc, are merely empires of people, not religion. The onus of a perfect islam is always thrown in middle eastern history and always fails to be supported which causes others to question islam in turn. my comment was not exclusive to the ottomans so your comparison comment wasn't necessary. Thank Allah that this movie came out as I would have died without even knowing the Ottoman Empire. The movie is romanticized or whatever but the gist of the story is Osman was a great leader and we must pay respect to him. He was young and dedicated his life to Islam.
