I think Yogananda was already a liberated soul who chose it upon himself (or was divinely inspired) to incarnate as William the Conquerer. He had to do what was required of him in that dark age. If he had to be ruthless, he was.

That body was body of a giant. Not normal giant.. those days they were 10-11 ft tall.

Dena Merriam has recollected her lifetimes and revealed that Arjun was born as William the conqueror.

PAPAJI-Ramana Maharshis more evolved devotee stated he saw 2 previous incarnations on a different planet. Interestingly he narrated how the level of spiritual development was evolved enough so that love,altruism,peace & a socialistic society was in place. He elaborated & said because there was such a sense of peace & social security no real spiritual advancement or spiritual practices were a part of their societies mission statement. Furthermore he said these planets did not attract any spiritual masters to teach the people how to be liberated,because there was no inner desire to free them selves from such a idyllic environment. I find those insights really helpful in understanding the dharmic opportunities to advance here on earth with all its warts. I mean I can mention 5 liberated beings:Ramana Maharshi/Jhana yoga,Sri Ramakrishna/ Bhakti yoga,Gopi Krishna/Kundalini yoga,Parmahansa Yogananda/Kriya yoga & Neem Karoli Baba/ Karma yoga,that will guide you toward the goal. We are truly blessed to have incarnated on earth with all these compassionate masters of spiritual knowledge in such a contemporary time frame.

If you had met with babajai in any form you certainly would not be ranting this out in that manner. I do recall, however, that Sri Durga mata, I believe in her work, trilogy of Love mentioned that Sri. P.Y. Ji had revealed to her that he was in fact none other than Arjuna, and so therefore uniquely qualified to interpret the Bhagavad Gita as he has so eloguently done.

Pl rethink and elucidate

He mentioned a few incarnations, actually - he said he was Arjuna when he was with Krishna. He was William the Conqueror, he was also a warrior king who drove out the moors from Spain (very likely Fernando I, also called "Fernando the Saint"). He said he was a poet also, but we don't know which one. As an avatar he has often a very public role, which also gives him the opportunity to train his disciples.

The works of Shakespeare appear to have ben written by a self-appointed committee of men who used his name. Some works are brilliant while others are poorly written in a different style.

It has nothing todo with race...do yourself a favour and read yoganandas books.
