Maybe I didn't make the point of this video clearly enough, but this isn't "who's going to win All Stars 9", this is "whom (thanks btw) was All Stars 9 made for", aka if anyone, who's going to be the queen that the producers cater the challenges, storylines and final result towards in hopes of her winning. Some people got it, some didn't, so I just wanted to write it in simpler terms: WHO'S MOST LIKELY TO GET THE MOST FAVOURITISM. However, who do I think is gonna win? Unless they take her out at the knees, like I mention in the video, my money's on Roxxxy, though I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being Angeria, given the foreshadowing of the visuals in the promo. 😉

Honestly i disagree (respectfully) with your take on Plastique. She’s the biggest queen to come from tiktok and i feel like RPDR hasn’t catered to someone who’s popular with the young audience since Aquaria or Symone, and she could add to the argument that RPDR doesn’t hate asian queens. The fact that she had the most liked promo look could add to the fact that she’s a fan favorite and could be a justification.

I get the feeling that RPDR is not really designed to cater to the drag fandom. It seems largely designed to cater to mainstream viewers. This means it would probably be fine for Nina realistically given: 1. The vast majority of mainstream viewers do not know her stance on the conflict. 2. Statistically the US population is majority pro-Israel causing the scandal to be… not a scandal.

This channel is honestly a breath of fresh air for me since (don’t come at me) American people are just wayyy too politically correct sometimes trying to not undermine people’s achievements and such by avoiding saying things how they really are regarding queen’s wins on the show. So hearing someone say “we are going to talk like adults” about the show’s winners, or anything really, feels correct.

People also just straight up just ignore all the crimes that Palestine/Hamas has committed just because Israel has killed more people. Also, without Israel, it would be impossible for LGBT+ people to be safe in the Middle East, it would be a No-Go zone for us. I'd rather support a country that supports women's rights, Trans/LGBT+ rights and religious freedom and wants a peaceful solution (Israel actually doesn't mind the possibility of a two state solution) compared to a country where women lacks rights, you get abused/murdered/arrested for being LGBT, and a country that just wants war (Palestine openly wants a One State solution and for Israel to no longer exist, and they've also said Jews wouldn't get equal rights).
I think it is always good to point out how everything leads back to racism and capitalism, please continue to do so, but if there is room to not perpetuate that, I encourage you to take advantage of it. It gets boring with the predictible winners and the fans already choosing queens they want to have a crown no matter what. Even if they flop, production will make sure to hide it. That way they all can live their happy lies.
The best queens for “optics” are Roxxxy (to complete the little storyline of season 5 finalists all getting a crown), Plastique (Asian excellence, only asian queen in Hall of Fame, Social Media queen) and Gottmik (Trans masc representation, etc.). All the other queens feel a bit “disposable” by production to me, and it seems like they want to give them a season they can showcase on and stay to the end bc Ru loves them (especially Jorgeous and Vanjie), knowing they won’t get the crown. I hope I’m proven wrong, but we’ll see
This narrative that Trinity was the best competitor on AS4, and they had no choice but to crown her instead of a black queen is so strange to me. 1.) They crown winners irrespective of track record all the time. 2.) Look at her wins: talent show is hotly contested, that was one of the worst snatch games of all time, and the acting challenge is also universally panned. Trinity was highly favored that season, and she's an amazing queen. But the narrative that she singlehandedly thwarted the conspiracy to crown a black queen is problematic.

It's not heartless but I disagree with the Kylie take. Like AS6 wouldn't have gone to Eureka after she came back and ousted Trinity. So it's between Ginger, Rajah, and Kylie. And until the last episode you couldn't really tell who was going to win IMHO.

The thing I've noticed with Nina West seems to be a little odd. She DID comment on Amy Schumer's post about Palestine saying "we love you," back in November, but she's also liked other comments saying free Palestine. This is all on Instagram of course, I personally really hope she explains this situation seeing as it has been 6 months since the initial comment on Schumer's post and I do believe that perspectives can change, but even if the US supports Israel being pushed in a show that's already airing with this about... I can't see this be a good look for her or good for the rest of her career among other things. Also part of me hopes that she isn't an alleged Zionist but that's just my own personal wishful thinking.
gottmik, jorgous, plastique, and shannel are 1000% invited their production wise for a reappearance in the show trying to bring their fanbases (from popularity/success) over to the show again. Vanjie and Angeria are redemption queens, and roxxxy WOULD be if she wasnt their clear pick for a win. Nina, in all honestly, could be their second pick if not their first interchangeably with roxxxy, as shes very involved with fundraising and charity.
My only issue is the framing in that it’s solely "RuPaul's" fault and/or also the Producers of the show who are at fault for lack of a better word. Because RuPaul is in the front of the camera while the producers can hide behind it. Granted, I'm not trying to evade any worthy criticism as for example the transphobic remarks RuPaul made in the past, but I am very glad to see that he changed his mind and the show definitely got better because of it. I dunno, I suppose trying to blame one single person as an escape goat for criticism is my main issue but not that RuPaul isn't worthy of criticism, I think we should be more mindful that there's many pieces that make up a clock, and just because it's not working, its easiest to blame the clock for not ticking 100% but that there's all of that machinery behind it which needs to be fixed and addressed too. I hope that made sense and I hope that wasn't too repetitive.

Acording to that "And don't fxck it up" book, AS3 was made for Trixie cause her cosmetics investors were part of the production and one of the clauses was Trixie winning, that's why they came to an agreement with Dela ($$$) and come up with the dumbest finale twist, it also said AS4 was supposed to be for Manilla and Latrice, but Naomi and Latrice flopping ruined their plan. If we go by narratives then probably is Gotmik (Trans issues in US) or Nina West (Drag ban and not suited for kids, she's been the "family friendly" drag 🤣)

I think the last season I watched was 13 and it left such a bad taste in my mouth that I only semi keep up with this show through YT videos like this and Nina Bonina rawviews. When you turn anything into an assembly line of products you're pushing constantly, I stop caring. Even RuPaul looks bored as fuck half the time up there. I don't care anymore, I just dont care. 😴
Gottmik and Roxxxy realistically have the highest chance at winning, with Angeria as a lovely third placer. Side note: Eurovision this year became the parody of itself, and I feel ashamed of my own country (Italy) for being so blatantly biased towards Israel, there was no need to leak the points, we all already knew Rai supported it (that’s why I think the percentages were rigged, 40% of votes is a lot especially in a semifinal in a country where ESC is not so popular). Italy specifically had THREE (out of Five) jurors rating the Israeli song in LAST place, with another placing it 23rd. If we are talking Biases there are clearly biases going both ways. The israeli jury, if you might ask, actually rated Angelina 5th in the overall rating, making much more sense in my opinion. I find it also kind of funny I can appriciate "La Noia" and Angelina yet in your comment you did not mention Eden Golan nor the song "Hurricane" even once when you were talking about Israel in Eurovision 2024- So I suppose we are the side causing the devide and bias.
I know it is not the subject of the video... but I've heard about the Vote for Croatia thing at the end and I wanted to give my opinion on that. Never seen Eurovision (I'm from Argentina and it is not a big thing here) but I saw the news on this Nemo boy winning and wanted to hear the song of the top three. Without any political or national bias I could say that he sounded way better that the Croatian boy. I liked the French singer too but idk how to compare a ballad like this with the other, more "fast pacing" songs. I can see why some people would be against Nemo winning (tbh, the message of the song looks a little like... in your face) but I don't really see anything new or even vocally pleasant in the performance of Lasagna. He just went back and forward waiving his hands in a "cool" manner and relied on this catchy wording that used in the title of the song. But well... maybe it was not made for me. I don't see anything special in the song of Nemo, but I feel comfortable saying that his performance and his vocal habilies are way better that the ones from the runner up. idk, even from cast rumors, I feel like it's roxxxy's season. it would be iconic for the top 3 of a season to all have crowns. also cementing szn 5 (as we already know) as a top 3 season.
I never thought about this take basing it on the charity they selected, I don't think that will play a huge role, but I might be proven wrong. I think the season was made for either Gottmik or Roxxy, the first due to some claiming she was robbed on her regular season or the latter for the redemption arch, it feels we haven't had a full story on her, she was a bitch on her season, then she was nicer but was not strong enough in her second appearance, now she is fully realized.
I see either Nina, Plastique or Roxie winning. Nina solely on the charity spin of the season, but that could be enough. Plastique in her social media presence and her fan support. Roxie because Roxie fucking Andrews.

I think this season is gonna be a Vanjie and Angeria and Roxxxy as top three. I sort of think Roxxxy is or Angeria are most likely to win, because even if she does well Vangie is playing for the ASPCA. And I am sort of predicting that Angeria just edges out Roxxxy and wins overall.

All stars 3 was def set up for trixie to win not dela. Production wasn’t expecting dela to dominate the way she did and how mid trixie preformed. My conspiracy theory is production set it up with dela for her eliminate herself to keep her “congenial” era going….then shangela became the front runner and trixie was still meh so they came up with the eliminated queens to come back and vote for the finalist cause they knew none of them liked shangela (hmmm foreshadowing?) trixie vs Kennedy in the final lip sync even thought Kennedy is the better performer trixie had the better track record so they justified her win 🤷🏻♀️
