Swords weren't made for going through someone anyway. You beat the person down, you didn't stab him. The sharp didn't come until they had you beaten senseless, then they'd pull their daggers (dirks) and slit your throat.

We're all unique in our own ways. All family names have their owns history and complex origins. As example, Berman comes either from the yiddish (meaning "Bear man") or old English Bærmann (also meaning "Bear man") or Beornmund (meaning "young warrior"). There's most likely people much much closer from the lords of the Isles than me. But it's relevant to know that without 1 of my ancestors I'dnt be here... and to see where they came from is even more thrilling... whatever if it happened nearly 1000 years ago 😅
@La.máquina.de.los.sueños

@Libby Berman My Heritage and Ancestry have a pretty large genealogical databases. On my father's side I can trace my ancestors back to the 4th century. On my mother side, I can't get before the 1600's... where a genealogist (back then) hit the same wall and then proposed that my family was linked to an other sharing the same surname... but I don't trust assumptions whatever if they sound glamorous, logic or not. I prefer archives, dates and names. Keep searching, genealogy is a personally rewarding hobby... even if it lead to some farmers of some sort, it's cool to know where we're coming from. 😀

@Libby Berman by the way, it was lady Jean MacDonald, countess of Bute (of the Isles), she married my direct ancestor (on my father side) sir John Alexander FitzJames of Bonkyl (13th century). Like I said, it's pretty far ago! My surname been changed 3 times since then... 😂

As i watch these episodes a common theme keeps coming to mind. A whole bunch of nothing, with a bunch of idiots making mountains out of mole hills. I realize it takes time to find a real meaning to archeology, but this is a whole lot of time devoted to much of nothing. Wow we found a bone at the bottom of the hole we are digging, major find? *Let's Review with a Science Standard* Stone Age: 3 Periods 250K Years ago, Paelo 10,000 BC End Ice Age Middle Stone Age.Hunter Gathers, Meso 4,000 BC Farmers _______________________________ The Global Flood Catacysm in area of 11,000 BC ▶ *Apply the serious Flood Waters that washed Everything around and covered everything with sediment and debris.* Some artifacts were already underground, the Megalithics stayed put. Now, clear all learned ideas from mind, a pristine Scientific state with Mind Wide Open and allow the Artifacts, Fossils/Skeletons, and Written Texts *plus the Oral Histories* your data. (Oral Histories must be considered if the Mind is cleared and Scientific) If one is unable to do so, they must be disqualified from the Research sector, as they are unable to do the necessary variables from an ethical Science and Research perspective. This is the *"Authentic Academia"* state of allowing the data findings to unfold the facts writing the greater accurate reality. Now, I ask: "What would the picture of our History look like from this evaluation and these Standards of Science and Research as they are supposed to be followed.? Not at all what Mainstream Archaeologists paint today. This will be done as the emerging minds recognize that our History Story has wandered way off course due to the breaching of the "Standards" and the Application of the Darwinian Linear Theory Paradigm, which is vastly riddled with known overturned points by Peer Reviewed Research, yet these facts and countless Artifacts, Fossils, and valid Oral Histories and even written Accounts are being ignored. For all Mature Adults and Particularly Academics: *Ego Minds require Balance by Conscious Applied Thoughts from the Higher Mind.* 🔑 I suggest this be added to the Standards of Science and Research, and with haste. *Let's Review with a Science Standard* There was no "Global Flood Catacysm". There, I fixed it. Well, to truly fix it, I'd have to change the misspelled "Catacysm" to "Cataclysm". Kinda sloppy for a supposed "Freelance Writer". "Science" doesn't support the idea of a world wide flood at any point in the Earth's history relevant to a discussion on humans. Anywhere you go from that starting point is pure nonsense.
