Not sure whether it's a good idea but brother u r right in your own way of philosophy coz in other states, it is the respective government which fixes rates for fares be it regional or local and here in our state, this is something which is lacking behind
DADU president should resign immediately coz till now he can't fix the rates, and he should open some no entry zone like in mp road, president is good for nothing

Town trip maybe 50,but it should limit the distance,because if the distance is far beyond the limit I think the fare has to rise. We have to also look at the other side of the coin.
Everything is fixed. These faltu drivers are asking extra for Traffic jam, Rasta piya and anthera evening. Seems like Auto Union president is taking deep slumber. It's high time for Nagaland govt to kick out this lazy Union and take over this Union .
This auto drivers are really funny.. During the day for jam and at night they double the rate because it's dark, say 150 during the day and 300 at night😅 I once asked an auto driver how much he would charge from high school colony till 7th mile, he calculates for a minute and tells me bhai etu toh 600 Rs hobo. I was shocked and I told him uncle I'm not going to kohima im just going to the new district chumu😂😂
2 days past,an autodriver abandoned me on the middle of the road saying its tooo far for him to charge 100 n he asked me +50. I was heading back home from Unity College to Aoyimkum. So basically, i fixed the fare before getting on the auto-100 On the way back home,he nearly took me to Aoyimti saying that the way to Aoyimkum is that way Pathetic,he just stopped his auto n spurned to move further ahead lol Eventually, after bickering for about 15 minutes i just unleash him admonishing not to do the same thing with others anymore Obstinately, he wasn't even ready to repent for his wrongdoing Thank y'all for hearing me😢 NB:Am not an English man so hope y'all forgive me🤐

Some of them charge by looking at the face. Last week I went to visit my friend and since my face is new to them in that area and I was carrying a bag like a traveller, he thought I came from some other district and after getting inside the auto, one passenger came & entered the auto. After reaching the destination, the auto driver charged me and the other passenger 70₹ saying it was a hire and that it was not a line.😂 so we asked if it was a hire how can he carry another passenger and charge us with the hire amount, to which he replied that in their area, that’s how it works. 😂 I’ve never heard of an auto driver carrying another passenger when you hire an auto😂 Majority of Naga manu auto drivers carries a big attitude in their head.
State Government Transport department must introduce proper City Bus Service in Dimapur. Or allow private parties (Naga only) interested to run city bus service do the needful for the welfare of general public. Auto driver's union is there to look only after the welfare of Auto drivers, not for public. How can any Auto driver afford a Toyota Fortuner or own a Restaurant?? 😅
I still remember few years back. The District administration tried their best to regulate Auto fares. But it was useless.. there was poor implementation of it. The auto drivers didn't gave a shit to the order of the District administration. No action could be taken against them. If the adminstrations try to take action the Auto union used to impose strike ... And thus making lives difficulties for school students. The problem of this situation will be solved only if the DC work hand in hand with the Auto union president to regulate the fares.
Auto fare from railgate to chumu the fare of the passengers should be ₹40 that's the perfect rate . And from 4th mile to railgate it should be ₹20 . The authority should fix the rate of the fares accordingly..
Tbh somehow at some point we can bargain with the non local people about the fare but when it comes to local people driving auto.... You must give that fixed rate or else they won't even move or take the discounted rate.
There should be a strict Rate fixed by the concerned authority..... If any driver charges double for traffic jam Then how about their charges which is triple or multiple when rided early morning or after the sunset..... Thanks to Hornbill Tv for the clear vision... The President of DADU should be interviewed by Reporters from News channels instead of wannabe Bias RU-vid reporters. This particular Question should be raised and if the Rates have been set and the drivers are still not abiding by the rules and regulation that clearly shows they dnt have respect for their President and his executives which shows the position of the President and his executive members.
Exactly 😢. I came from ghty last night n was returning to ghty but the way they charge fare was not fair. I raised my voice to them but they charge 100 for just 4 km whereas in Ghty we paid 150 for 12 km😮😮. Concern authority are simply ignorant also our charity workers public are simply paying. They charged in the name of bad road, n traffic jam.

This day auto driver are very rude... Traffic jump is everywhere n why he is charging for this issue.. this should be taken by dmpr auto driver union ... Over ase this days
We can't blame the auto drivers entirely, govt has to atleast build some flyover bridges. The auto drivers union also have a huge negligence regarding this issue
Extra fare is charge by local drivers. They say promote local but i really can't handle the attitude of locals. The other day I had a fought with one of the local driver over fare. I even questions whether his auto has special criterion that he is charging extra.
