His record sounds great but nah it didn't really hurt em a bit. It really only grazed em. As far as that dictionary line goes , it's mediocre at good.

There actually are things, MGK even had them at hand, but was too incompetent to use them. I believe that the whole thing about Stanning himself was awkward bullshit, but the thruth is lying underneath. The Real Slim Shady time brought forth a lot of songs that talked about his life. Way more of them than he should have had to tell. But he had to tell them, because he lead a life that wasn't easy and it's sad. He coped with a lot of these things by making music and it connected with people on a deeper level, but because his voice had such a wide reach suddenly, people all over the world knew about these things and he couldn't take them back. Songs like Cleanin out my Closet, which MGK for some reasons references without it even having a punch line, just because he thought it looked cool, would have hurt Em on a personal level. Because HE made this song. He SAID those things. Or the moment he once had a concert and performed "Kim". Kim, the real one, was in the audience without him knowing (as far as I remember at least he wasn't aware). That night she went back home and tried to end her life. Mockingbird was supposed to speak to Hailie and help her understand what happened, better than what he could say with words. It ended up giving fodder to mindless haters who then went after her (and yes, people who go for children just to shit on a person are what I'd consider "haters", because that's not criticism). All those things were mistakes that he made and he already admitted to it, but it's not often talked about, because Eminem doesn't appear in public terribly often anyway. Attacking him there, yes it's something he already knowledged, it would be low, but it would be personal and it would hurt. Just sayin. There are things. But this ain't it.

I've been following MGK before he was even known, I was one of his first 300 subscribers when he started on YT, I like him as an artist, but he straight up got beat BADLY by Eminem. I'd say yes, you can quote, but there was no point. I always thought that, when referencing things, it was about "turning" them on the opponent. Even if it's not true or hyperbolised, the message must still be somewhat believable. Or be a clear hit. The line about Rihanna was nonsensical, because no one would assume they aren't in contact after having more than one song, and even went on a tour together. Even if they couldn't stand each other at all, they would probably stay in contact, because they obviously rock together. There's literally no known rumor, no rhyme or reason behind it, but "I remember you worked with Rihanna, so let's claim you're pining" with no substance. That's a shot, sure, but a shot in the dark and everybody can see he missed by a landslide. There's not one viable diss in MGKs disstrack. Like, him saying he shall put the pen down - just because he doesn't like him, doesn't mean Eminem can't make music anymore. By standard, he would also have to stop as soon as someone said he couldn't do it, and a lot of people said that as the album he dropped around that time flopped. Eminem is still banging, better than many others, if he has to put the pen down, 80 percent of young rappers don't even need to take it up. Where's the diss? The thing about being blackballed... well, if he's not on a single channel, because it's Em's and he doesn't like his music, which I understand when I hear his low-energy rapping in "Rap Devil", with barely any rhyme schemes, flat out lines without deeper meaning, and literally no idea how a disstrack even works, that doesn't mean he's being blackballed. It's Eminem, if he wants him destroyed, he could have done so. The thing about him being angered about a tweet as well... Eminem wouldn't have called and asked for an apology. He would have called and asked for his head. Coming off the Colleen Ballinger drama, having someone say "joke" about tweeting and indecent comment about a minor when 22, kind of irks me a bit. Eminem said his manager saw the tweet and acted, which makes sense, because Managers call on bosses to take care of business reasonably - Eminem puts down bars and spits fire. I mean, do you seriously believe MGK? Factually, he already lied about the joke, because this is something most devoted fathers would go ballistic about. He didn't specify it, hoping most people wouldn't know shit about this story anyway, I bet you. I saw a few reactions to this since it came out and most people didn't know. Same as the fact that he pretends to be a poor young rapper, who gets attacked by Eminem. But he put himself on his radar. In fact, he forced himself there; he literally annoyed him for years, even the indecent tweet to Hailie was probably to provoke him, because it's Hailie, and we know how that would end. He shot against him in his track with Tech N9ne. That's why he popped champagne when he was finally acknowledged in Not Alike. Yet he had nothing to actually diss him with. He's stanning himself? Wouldn't he actually try to be more like his old self instead of changing himself deliberately? He could go back, we know he has it in him, he just doesn't want to. To take a well known fact and pretend you don't understand isn't a diss. I just scratched my head at this line. If anything, Eminem is right, MGK was stanning him hard. A shot has to actually land on the opponent to be a good diss, not just sound nice, when rapped lethargically over a good beat.
