Today we will test the Hazet vs Williams ratchet and see if the made in Germany or USA made tool is stronger. This is also a battle of coarse tooth ratchet Hazet 30t Williams 36t OEMTOOLS 36t showdown vs Fine tooth ratchets Stanley Micro-Tough 72T ARES Tools 90 tooth
You will have to watch to see if your favorite tool was tested and if the results were what you expected.
Below are all the Products and Descriptions that were tested.
Mueller-Kueps MLK745100 Wrench (Extender) Will work on almost any wrench and today we tested it with 3/8 inch drive ratchets.
Great for when you are stumped with the task of removing either a seized, rusted, or over tightened nut. Don't attempt hammering, using a pipe, or latching two wrenches together. Instead try the safe way to increase torque by using the Wrench Extender. Built to German specifications, this wrench extender will give you the extra torque to safely get your fastener loosened.

Yes the Husky Pro is very similar but it was like a version 1.1 as they put a snap ring on the top of the selector switch and there was a MAC Tools version since they all rolled up under Stanley Black & Decker at the time.

@@ClientGraphics They were/are all made by HiFive/NewTools... I have yet to watch the video but as a MicroTough owner and knowing the internals very well, I can say that it was an unfair test. MicroTough should make specs but not a lot more. What they lose in strength (because of the small design), they gain in smoothness and very low drag. I love and hate them at the same time. The love for the things mentioned above and the hate because I am trying to shed a few ratchets and can't get them sold over here in the Netherlands basically because no one knows them combined with the Stanley branding.

The deviation was not enough to rely on a single sample of each, though you wouldn't want to either way. What this testing really showed me was forget about which can produce the most torque before breaking, rather focus on other design parameters, and of course, price or what kit bungles you can get as it is far more expensive to buy a piece at a time rather than a kit. Plus, this is what breaker bars are for. I've never subjected any of my ratchets that size, to an excess of 200 lb ft torque. I very rarely break ratchets, and hardly ever buy "pro" grade (price), rather using the right tool for the job instead.

Twice to destroy the German. Basically it was like a Sherman vs a Tiger. Anyway I have Ares the issue is some of the ratchets the manufacturer didn't put grease in it. I have 6 ares ratchets had my first set for 4 years. I definitely recommend it. Love the new flex head.

Idk. I have a set of ares... 3 of them failed within a handful of uses. That was months ago. Still can't get them warrantied. When I opened them up, the pawls didn't even line up with the main gear. Hence why they broke the pawls so easy.

Sounds like the Ares just needed a little oil, that thing is made with some hard $15 cheese.
