Graham Hancock is someone I really look up to. Very early in my youtube career, I had the great pleasure of meeting Graham. He was so encouraging and he inspired a thrilling curiosity about our past. And here we are 5 years later. I am proud to present this presentation. Graham has a beautiful way with words. It was an honor to add art to this. He has a brilliant mind, I first saw him on Joe Rogan a few years ago and it completely changed how I viewed human history. Thank you for this amazing content!
Religions and their differences aren't petty as the video seems to suggest. There is no excuse to hate one another, not even religion. I like to think of it as we are supposed to love one another even over enormous differences.
I personally are so grateful for your channel and the information and drawings you produce. Giving Graham Hancock a platform to speak his truth truly fills my soul with positivity and love (and a conscious thought to keep myself grounded, respectful and gracious). I turned 47 yesterday and spent some time in Foremark woods near Repton Derbyshire where was found many Viking bodies a few years ago. Self realization enabled me to meditate and connect with the Earth, the Sun, Trees, Wind. Life is beautiful, warm and peaceful, I hope that 1 day this can be shared with everyone. I believe we need Natures wisdom more than ever now. Love, peace and wisdom to all. And many thanks
That's because the narrative has the cattle in a trance so the cattle can't draw parallels between the past and now. The cattle can't use their brains and even if they do it's almost nil and only done so to justify and defend their opinions which are just the narrative's opinions they regurgitate. The cattle don't know much about history either, and because they're so asleep and obedient they think that things that happened in the past or in movies can't happen in the present.
And we honestly need to. Especially right now. One thing we need to be paying attention to at the moment is the early to mid-twentyest century in both the United States and Europe. It would give us a bit of a blueprint for what's going on now and what must be done in order to prevent going down the wrong path. Unfortunately that won't help us with climate change which adds a new and urgent element. We need a President who would call a national emergency, put us on WW2 footing but not for war. In order to save the planet. Hopefully other world leaders would follow his lead.
@@leealexander3507 Don't worry about the earth; it will continue and evolve as always. It's the humans who are the worry. All things pass and all life is constant change, even the climate.
I asked my Grandmother about the great depression of the 1930's. She said, we didn't have any money before the depression, so didn't make much difference to us. We had a farm, mules to do the plowing, a milk cow. We grew all the food we ate, and knew how to hunt. People in the city had a hard time, but we did OK.
Seems congruent with I have read when doing a research paper. That is, the reality that rural populations would be best off when society falls apart, particularly like the impoverished rural farms of Portugal whose towns and institutions have decayed or gone away.
I asked my grandmother the same... she grew up right after... she had a hard time as a child. It was rough on her. I have to assume she was one of the "city-folk".
Late to the party but I absolutely love that sentiment. People act as if low income country dwellers somehow have an objectively worse and more miserable existence than the rest of us. Not just in the United States but in Africa and Asia too. I think that’s an oversimplification and ultimately not truly representative of lives experience. I envy the lifestyle actually, it is much closer to how we are meant to exist as a human species. There will be hardship with that life, but there will also be hardship and stressors for even middle class urbanites. Neither way is objectively better, there are advantages and there are disadvantages. We’ve just been conditioned to think that any lifestyle that results in participants not having a lot of money is inherently worse. Fuck that. If I can eat and sleep somewhere safe then I’m happy.
"We ceased to nurture spirit, we ceased to love and tend the earth and we no longer regarded the universe with reverent awe and wonder!" A truly heart-wrenching phrase. Indeed what have we done! 😟
This is true for society in general, but not for all people, there are actually lots of people that don't agree with the cold mechanised society we're forced into and still do all these things. So there is hope.
We _used to_ nurture spirit, we _used to_ love and tend the earth and we _used to_ regard the universe with reverent awe and wonder. But then a tiny group of people mainly from the West, whom we customarily call '_the elite_', changed all that from the 17th century onwards.

A society where a lot of people have mental illness cannot survive unless we learn how to solve this challenge first. The best way is to connect to our true selves (soul) once again. This material reality is not our total reality… there is more beyond this. Unfortunately, we have forgotten this and forgotten the One’s true form. 🙏☝️ I wish everyone so much love & contentment.❤️
@@4cornernan Well, mental illness is in many ways caused by being consumed by oneself. Something that easily happens when we feel disconnected from others, which happens in society when it grows so large that our place in it is insignificant. Many people fall into obsessing over their own mind while trying to find their purpose, something which is very hard to find in a society that dosen't need you. Often we find ourselves trying to trick ourselves into thinking "I'm special, I'll cure cancer", but in reality someone will cure cancer sooner or later anyway because it depends on the collective knowledge not one special individual. So once that illusion shatters we'll find that our place in society is not important, if we die today we'll be replaced tomorrow. While in a small scale society everyone is important, dosen't matter if we're just a baker or fisherman or whatever, we're actually integral to our group. In our society the only ones we really matter to is our friends and family and a lot of people don't even have that.
To the *incredible person* that's seeing this, I wish you all the best in life❤ don't ever blame yourself, accept things and go forward. Your smile is precious and the keys to a happy life is in your hands.
We are called to repentance. We must accept responsibility for our actions. Then we can turn from our errant ways and lay our guilt down when our heart and mind has been transformed in such a way that we do not repeat those undesirable choices and behaviors.
I can only listen to so much of this once he starts his rant about human kind. No doubt we are a bane to this planet and each other. We also bring the attributes of love and many demonstrate such. Im convinced after hearing so many NDE testimonials that we are here to evolve however slowly. When It look at the creatures that live on survival instincts alone its obvious that humans have evolved toward greater compassion but only time and perhaps even other dimensions, perspectives, experiences will eventually teach us if reincarnation does exist. This is also a great time for awakening for many and I love so much of what is on youtube in regards to love and all its attributes from kindness to forgiveness 💚 May your journey be one of living, loving and learning.

Hopeful. It always gets the worst before it gets better. A collapse will free the world and the people might be way happier in far future. This false system or as I call it "matrix" was meant to fail from the beginning. So yes your whole life is a lie everything you got told from this system is a lie. Graham is a gem and it's going to be interesting when his ideas on the world are eventually brought more to light and widely accepted. Maybe not but, I think one day they will be.
I think why Graham Hancock is hated in archeology, is that he knows that history can never be written as 100%, because we can never have 100% of the findings in our disposal. We have to write theories that include as many findings and knowledge in different fields as possible, but also to create logical links in a way that "what would the world be like; what would humans do and feel in these conditions; who would survive". But that is regarded as pseudoscience today. Science is just data and knowledge, but he is trying to find insight and wisdom with scientific data.
I like Hancock and his theories are intriguing, but he is not an archaeologist and his theories are not supported by solid evidence. Just keepin’ it real here.
Yes, he is not an archeologist, but he's challenging the idea that archeologists can make a unique theory about every finding and deem other findings that could be linked with plausible theories just as random consequence. We might never find an exact evidence that exactly links controversial findings, but he tries to fill these links with data from other fields, such as climate, geology etc. So far he's been proven right on some things, of course it doesn't mean everything he says are/were true. Science should be about challenging the knowledge we already possess, otherwise it's just stagnation. And of course what he's doing is a fine line between pseudoscience and actual science, but still doesn't mean that his ideas shouldn't be taken into consideration, mainstream scientists don't even dig into his work and automatically just say "oh, that's just pseudoscience".
I think some findings can be validated by predictable human behavior rather than solely data. There are basic needs in both humans and animals that are universal regardless of the society.
As someone who used to be a big fan and owns his books- I disagree. Us scientists like to wonder as well. As you said, there is so much we don’t know- so many surprises to be found. The reason experts tend to not like Graham is that they are more likely to pick out his falsehoods. Most of the stuff he says is true and his passion makes it super interesting. But he has the tendency to exaggerate to tell his story. He tried to link denisovans to giants and the Americas at one point- and omitted some very important information that made his beliefs a lot less believable. That kind of stuff gets frustrating when we want to enjoy the wonder as well.
You say what I have been saying a lot more poetically. Positive mindset and actions are key to being successful. I don't know why it's so hard to understand. I try my best to teach my children this on a daily basis and try to exhibit positive behavior through my RU-vid videos.
There are times where is truely no base to think positive and doing so shows lots of naivity and false hope which can let to desastrous wrong doing. however there is no benefit in being extra depressive either. A healthy balance is best.
From space, observing the planet with scientific curiosity, no, it would not. However, living at the end times would not be a moment for analysis and consideration of whether human civilization deserved its fate.
7:50 what a fortunate students they are, to have tutor a guide like you professor Graham, it's just a blessing of God. If there will be at least one professor Graham in every school and university in the world... Perhaps we would be living a happier life. Total support to your work. Like 💯👍🏼
