The Packers are going to shine this season. LaFluer is hella underrated as a coach. Love is a stud. Our defense might finally play to their talent level. Our new DC is a pretty big upgrade. Our young WRs are steller, same thing goes for our TEs. I miss Aaron Jones though. #33 was our heart and soul. I'm sick he went to the Vikings.

The 3rd component overlooked here is the gelling of the O-Line. Remember they had a good 1st game; then Bakh announces he's out for the season; then game 2 in 2nd Qtr vs. Atlanta, former All-Pro Elgton Jenkins (LG) goes down w/ a knee injury and he misses 2 1/2 games; so the Left side of the line is in flux from Games 2-5; takes a bit of time for Jenkins to come back full strength & Bakh was replaced by a 2nd yr, 7th round pick, who takes about 10 weeks before his play really became consistent. You also had inconsistency and poor play early in season at RG (Runyon) before he put it together & a source of frustration has been the Center; who seemed to play better later; only consistency was great performance by RT, Zach Tom (until he injured his head in 3rd quarter of 49er playoff game - and you saw how Jordan passed after that; didn't have the confidence of his O-Line; timing of passes were off and made 2 bad int's (looked like Sept/Oct) - now you mentioned the 1st 2 components 1) Development of Jordan Love thru the season, 2) combined with development of nine 1st/2nd yr WR/TEs, it all came together beginning Week 10 (would have beaten the Steelers if not for terrible call that denied Defense TD on a clear lateral by Pittsburgh QB); Week 11 - the win vs the Chargers; then it all began w/ Thanksgiving win over Lions, and next with Chiefs. The first 2 components very necessary (Love development & WR/TEs development) but without the O-Line providing the protection where Jordan can avoid happy feet, it doesn't happen.

I think we've seen enough of Allen to say he's not the one. Purdy and Love is tough right now. Purdy has been more consistent, but Jordan's upside and 2nd half last year is far more intriguing. This season should give us a final answer.

So what if GB had traded AR a year earlier and JLove now had two full seasons under his belt and finished the 2023 just as he did. Everyone of you would be saying pay the man now. It was not his fault that GB did not move on from AR earlier and give him more snaps before this contract extension was staring them in the face. They sat him for 3 years and when they finally gave him the reigns he progressed throughout the year into an elite QB we all wanted and expected. Other contemporary QBs have a larger sample size but their production is no better than what JLove did and they are getting their payday. So this whole argument about his small sample size means he shouldn’t get a big payday now is weak. JLove and his agent have the leverage on the Packers in this. Gutey knew that this scenario was possible. Give the guy only 1 year of snaps before the last year of his contract and he rises to the occasion and now you can’t risk him hitting the open market next year. They should have closed the deal in May if they wanted to save money.

MLF is a great coach??? His first 3 years they went 39-10, the last 2 years 17-17. Love is a great QB???? He led them to a 9-8 record, one whole game over .500. They won 1 playoff game over an overrated Chokeboys team. Did he win the Super Bowl/No, Did he win an NFC Championship/No Did he even win the division/No People say he played great the final 10 games last year. They didn't even win 10 games during last season.

Did you bet money on packers that game majority of people picked Dallas my bet you gave packers no chance as a packers fan I felt very confident against cowboys 49ers took advantage better then green bay but to say Jordan love isn't going to be great tells me you haven't seen many of his games the thing is when you watch him he makes some elite throws only 2 question marks can he do it when everyone expects you too and can he play last 10 games and do that for a full season of so your looking at josh Allen Patrick mahomes and that's it no one else make the throws he does

@@claytonacuff343 So I haven't watched many games? Strange you would say that then turn around and admit he only played well in 10 of their 17 games. I guess that with even a small sample size you are willing to declare someone elite. Sorry but I'm not. Just like I wouldn't call CJ Stroud elite after only one season. There is a term called one year wonder for a reason.

Rodgers won 6 games his starting year with arguably a better team. Rodgers sat three years same as Love. Love had a better year statistically than any Bears QB in history. All with a bunch of new and injured players. Love was almost top of the league in touchdowns among a bunch of other things. Love is the man sorry bout it

@@zzzzzz3708 Where did I say that I thought Rodgers was going to be a Hall of Famer after his rookie year? Plenty of people thought Tim Tebow was the man and won a playoff game his first year also. RG3 had a great first year too, how did that turn out. If you want to call a player great after 1 good season go right ahead. Just know you have as much a chance of being right as I do in being wrong.

Love should get paid. He is the truth. I can't think of a QB I'd rather have lead the Pack. Ok, maybe Mahomes, but I do want to see what Love can do. Love outshined Mahomes last year when the Packers beat the "World Champion Cheifs".
