Merlin Olsen was one of my favorites too. My Mom and Dad both went to Utah State (they met there) and my Dad’s side of the family were original settlers in Cache Valley. My folks immigrated to WA where our family is today. Go Hawks! 😅 Thx for sharing.

Pepino Man sent me that Bill Murray card. Really cool. He is part owner of our Charleston River Dogs now and lives here. He goes to the Hot Stove event here every year.
Digging the Merlin PC and love that Bill Murray card, I remember that winning streak and even went to one of the games and still have the SI that had an article about it. Really sucks about Klauke, I remember listening to him in the car on 570 I think

That is funny about your dad always mentioning how Merlin went to the same school when your watching Little House on the Prairie. What a great Kincaid card from one of your daughters. Very nice. I didn’t know that Franco card existed either. Interesting they used a yellow border. I don’t believe that was used in the set. Very cool Murray card. RIP Steve Klauke.

subbed ya back ! yeah little house was what I remeber Merlin from mostly too! franco was at a steelers / Titans game in Tennessee and I saw people were going to a person two section over and it was Franco harris and he signed autographs for a while but I didnt try, I was hoping to wait till the line was shortened.

I just found youre channel. Been catching up. Thanks for the walks down memory lane. Im so sick of watching videos of mantle, mays, aaron and clemente. I prefer football. I have so many sets i cant put them all in binders though. 160 and counting. I dont buy the shiny stuff though. Did you see the Chasing Cardboard episode with all the game used uniforms. Merlin Olson probably called one or two super bowls. What is it about Utah drivers hitting pedestrians? The former jazz player a few years back riding his bike and was hit by a driver
Yep, included my favorite, Superbowl XX 😊 And yeah, Shawn Bradley a few years back, paralyzed for the rest of his life. And Klauke was in a crosswalk. So sad. Drivers need to be watching for people, that's for sure.
@@TonyBlack574 yeah, initially it was reported that Eaton had been hit by a car, but it came out later that he had just been biking and either crashed or had a medical emergency and died. But that was a sad day for all of us Utah Jazz fans. He was a great player and a great guy in the community.
Yeah, no kidding. Maybe they were playing it way too safe? It might be fun to get both versions one day. I imagine the auto cards from this are tougher to find, though not impossible. Funny that I never knew it existed until the SCP video recently. It's great to have in the collection, and I love that Score picked him as a spokesman even though he'd been retired a few years by then.
