I remember when gas was $.28 per gallon and the air was free and even had someone pump the gas and raise the hood and check your oil for free! What a time we live in now,God help us all
If you're in the states, that was usually someone young here (working for not too much, but learning about showing up and doing the job). labor laws and the minimum wage pretty much eliminated that. To some extent, garages with full service repair and gas pumps in the same place where an adult may come out have also probably killed that.

these are some gnarly trees. recently took down six 70 foot "pine" trees with branches every 6 inches the whole way up. hand splitting those trees will definitely humble a man. love the video

The interior of your truck reminds me of my old 78 Bronco. That truck would go anywhere. And did. Spent a lot of time working on it, you could just sit on the fender with your feet on the well and reach everything.👍

Gone of the way of the old Service station lame! When I was a little boy in my tiny little town! The owner would sit out front of his station and look and greet all the customers they only had two pumps! But he always checked my Mom’s pressure in her tires if he thought they needed air! No charge ever and he would do it for any customer. Man I wish things were they way they were back then. I am a simple man that love a simple life things sure have become a lot more complicated! That is a great "little" saw! He did nice. Watch/followed the build on his channel. About the thumbs down. Great man to say it BBR. People, if you give videos a thumbs down, at least have the decensy and tell that person what you disliked. Be it the content, subject, editing, whatever. Be a man/woman and tell them, don't be a keyboardwarrior, in the end it will bite you. Reminder like mister BBR says start with yourself to make this world a better place and that can mean that sometimes you need to tell somebody on what they can improve. Don't downtalk them, but help them be better.

Those older saws are great . Dad and I own a newer Stihl and husqvarna and I still think our older mac saws work better on larger trees . Nice video keep up the good work !

Boy does that saw have snot. Especially for being 58cc. On par or better than most modern ported 59-61cc saws. And that chain was impressive. That square grind REALLY EATS. Where I am, it's almost exclusively hardwood that I run in, and that chain likely would work my dual port but otherwise stock 394 to about its limit in the hardwood I cut. It was definitely too hungry for that wood, as you noted, but cut impressively fast once you got the self feed right. I agree that one more grind will put it about perfect and she's gonna be truly scary. definitely excited to see her run again!
I remember when they filled the tank and only them. I remember when I got cash back for paying a $1 for a 1 gallon and got cash back. It was 25 cents. Got to a nickle but we didn't need mower gas then during the gas war. Glad to see the truck running like a top !
