Awesome!!! “BELIEVE” has to be your next Lenny reaction. It has one of my ultimate favourite guitar solos by Craig Ross. Him and Lenny have been playing together for a long long time now.
I love rockin' Lenny, but his sensual side just does something to me! This man is the whole damn package! Hope u had a wonderful day, Amber! Happy birthday! ❤
Right before the pandemic started I was lucky enough to see both Lenny Kravitz and Prince in separate concerts. Lenny lists Prince as one of his major influences, over time they became close friends, sharing the stage often. While there are definite similarities between them they also are unique in their own rights. I mentioned them together here because both these individuals dared to make their own brand of music, ignoring critics or record labels suggestions . Thank God for both of them❤
when this album came out, I bought the CD for a lady I was seeing, and when I got to work, she was waiting for me in the parking lot and had got the CD for me!
I think the coolest Lenny Kravitz song is "If I Could Fall in Love" - definitely a banger. It was used in the the very cool movie "Blue Crush" - for your next Friday movie before summer's over.
Happy Birthday Amber!!!! 🥳🥳🥳.. If you want a great Lenny Kravitz song, try "Believe'. It's my favorite from him. Think you would love it.. It's an early one with a cool psychedelic vibe ☮️
One of my favorite songs from him. Thanks for finally reacting to it. I had a feeling you would like it, though I didn't know Amber would LIKE IT, like it that much. Too funny! Anyway, happy belated birthday Amber!
Happy birthday, Amber! I love this album! I think this is the one where he produced and recorded with all 70s vintage recording equipment and instruments
Lenny is so Diverse. He can Sing anything and Be cool while doing it. For a laid Back Lenny, Check out Believe. Also For a Stripped back Lenny. Check out Low. If you do? You will put it on Repeat. Great Reaction. You can see Lenny hit home with Amber.
Happy birthday Amber!!!! I wish you more life, more love, and more joy always! This is one of my favourite Lenny songs. It gives me chills and makes me smile all at once. "I Belong to You" was written and produced by Lenny for his fifth album, 5 (1998); it was released as the third single and peaked on the Billboard Adult Pop Airplay chart at #15. Please react to Lenny Kravitz - "If I Could Fall in Love."
My favorite Lenny Kravitz soing, his most underrated by far. Saw him a few years ago in Louisville for Bourbon and Beyond and he stole the show that day. Absolutely electric in concert.
Happy Birthday, Amber! 🥳 I bought this album as soon as it came out in the late 90s and listened to it all the time. This was my favorite song on the album and I've listened to it thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of times. 🥰
Lenny won two Grammy Awards for this album, 5, his fifth album, which also featured Fly Away and American Woman, two more favorites of mine that I played on repeat in the late 90s.
4:45 Exactly Amber thats a perfect word "intimate" thats kinda how I always saw and heard Lenny Kravitz. "Can't Get You Off My Mind" and "Stillness of Heart"
I am so glad that you did this one. I had suggested this one eons ago and it's my favorite Lenny Kravitz song. The child's piano in the background, the bass, the earnestness with what she's singing, and of course he just is sexy.
I'll never forget the sunny day in autumn 98 when I put the new Lenny album 5 on for the first time. It was stunning from start to finish. Still play it every now and then.
Jay & Amber, you'll love his cover of "American Woman"!!! Also, you'll love another singer/guitarist named Gary Clark Jr. and his "Ain't Messin' Around" !!!
I used to listen to this and the rest of the 5 album on my commute to and from work. His ode to his mother ("Thinking of You"), the late actress Roxie Roker is one of my faves.
Coolest cat around. Even today this man is making better music than younger artists around today. Talent is all that can be said. He writes great songs, multi-instrumentalist and charisma to boot. Check out a song called - "Lady"
My favorite song from Lenny Kravitz is, "I Build This Garden for Us," which is very Beatle-esque. There's also a pretty soulful deep cut that is pretty good called "Fear," that was written by him and actress Lisa Bonet (from The Cosby Show) when they were married.
Funny, Aerosmith just retired and the last time I saw them Lenny Kravitz opened! He was the highlight of the concert! What a performance! He rocks! with a sultry kinda vibe.
