6 months later after reading comments i honestly didn't mean to disrespect the guy by purging weapons and punching him lol. i just thought it was the least overkill alternative to finishing them off
@@Vespyr_ bro took the L properly, didn’t alt F4, and really what is he gonna do against a full health enemy when at that hp he’d literally die to a leaf touching his AC? The only way he can be more honorable is by committing seppuku which you can’t even do here because this isn’t elden ring
@@rylaha1519 He could have gone down fighting. Because things didn't go his way he stopped playing and waited for death. He didn't run away, but that's still quitting. If he had been winning he'd have used that terminal armor to squeeze out the victory, but he laid on the ground and stared at the sky instead. Respect would have been seeing him try to zone him out after the terminal armor and getting in as much damage as he could. Not bending over to be penetrated twice in a row. This is just a tantrum by any other name.
@@Vespyr_ you're just delusional, this isn't a game where you still have a chance to get some one tap kill (not with the guy's build anyways) and this isn't even a team game where simply staying alive holds some level of value. Especially when in AC6 where you can simply press alt F4 and then at a immediately systematic level it's like none of this happened, simply not doing that and taking the L like you're supposed to is plentiful. Or perhaps you're suggesting he's the same breed as the ones who quit out game as soon as the match goes south?
@@rylaha1519 It isn't about whether you have a chance or not. You don't just lay down your sword because the opponent is stronger than you. In any fighting game, putting down a controller because a player opens up with a strong combo and takes you down to a sliver of health is called a toddler tier tantrum. There is nothing delusional about my perspective. It's extremely common in any competitive sport. Having to address an adhominem right off the bat doesn't strengthen the conversation btw, especially when there is obvious merit to what I'm saying.
Imagine if this was in real life. Your the one who has their terminal armor activated yet your AC legs are disabled and the enemy AC is just slowly walking towards you, purging all of their weapons with malicious intent, knowing that you can’t escape. It would be straight up terrifying knowing in the last moments that your terminal armor will deactivate at any second. Think about it.
@@CryptTheNecromancerThere absolutely should be, every other online match-based game does. Quit a match, get a warning, then a 1 hour ban, then 12 hour, then 36 hour, and after that a perma IP ban. And yes, I am ALL for perma-banning people from games. Don't care why they do it, if you're gonna ruin the game for others then it's single player only, forever. You already know you're not supposed to do this, screw second chances lol.
so this video blew up for some reason lmao i'm not gonna say "check out my other content" or "stay tuned for more content" because that's just cringe lol. just sub if you want i guess
I wish you could still fight fun and interesting builds like this in higher ranks. I just made it to A rank yesterday and the fun kinda stops near the end of B-rank to the beginning of A-rank.
@@Delano777 Ah that's nothin. For my builds anyways anything with enough speed and EN can stay on them just gotta watch their weapons and dodge what's comin at ya, it's push and pull! Plus remember you can rise and fall for evasion and they can't. (not very well as quads, anyway.)
@@larrymunn5279 yeah it's just annoying I like light weight builds and I can fight tetras realitively easy a heavy tank with 10 lasers cannons shows up and then you change to a heavier build to fight those heavy tanks and then the tetras are back hovering
Not sure why..... Reminds me of DBZA: Perfect Cell: After all that, I am now- Yamcha: PERFECT-ER CELL! Perfect-er Cell: Okay. Accurate Yamcha, but tone it down.
From their perspective, that player was probably going through the same kinda emotions the Redguns and Vespers went through when being confronted by Raven. Difference being they knew they were outmatched.
It's ranked. Don't be sorry. I'm not. They knew what they were headed in for. I mean it's ranked....there's no room for sorrow. You want the rank? You gotta grind through the cheese to get the big cheddar
@iwuanadie1058 nah, if I gotta deal with people one tapping me, then hiding away for the rest of the game, then surely these people can handle a little bit of upclose and personal cheese
The imbalance is part of what’s funny about it imo. A game with this much build variety is more about showing off your custom-build cool robot than serious competition. If you want that, you use double zimmies like everyone else.
I'm NGL I thought this game was almost perfect until I started playing PVP, then I realised how imbalanced it acc is. I can try so hard with my fave builds and do absolutely no where near as good as I do, barely trying on boring ass cheese builds. Really made me not want to play anymore PVP
@@durpanda123Sadly, the game is much focused on PvE rather than pvp, mostly because of the stager system. The older armored core games like 5 and verdict day, for example, were focused on the pvp and Co-op with its varraity of modes.
It's one thing just to one tap them when the shield is gone with the hand gun, though purging all weapons to punch them out is just rude. I had some bad runs in PvP, I feel bad for that dude. (Side note, that's a cool and mean combo you got)
You mean when he was staggered? When its literally impossible to move for a moment? You want him to ascend and descend while immobile? You want him to dodge during the small window he literally cannot?
all the people saying the losing pilot chose honor don't understand what that actually means. to die with honor would be to die fighting, not to lay down your arms and surrender. not that i disagree with his decision as i probably would do the same, but yeah that's definitely not an honorable way to die
TA leaves you with 1hp there was no possible counterplay without cheating or the other guy letting you instead he acted like isshin from sekiro, he knew the fight was over.
@@RayTC whether "it's over" or not is not a factor in whether or not a true warrior decides to continue the fight. unless it benefits his cause to surrender, he will continue to fight to his last breath because that is the duty he has chosen for himself. the only shame in losing is if you did not try your best
@@agenttatsu i think you have a skewed perception of what "honour" is and no, it is not killing yourself by either your own blade or the enemies' also, as stated before, he already lost the fight
so, let me get this straight....he only wants to fight if he feels like he can win, and the moment he realizes he can't he doen't feel like fighting anymore...and that's what we call "honorable"? and i'm the one with a "skewed" perception for thinking that the "honorable" thing to do would be to keep giving your opponent your best effort even if the odds are against you? do yourself a favor and look up the definition of "honorable", and ask yourself when in history have we "honored" a quitter in a battle of sport. imagine if it was the final minutes of a sports game and one team was so far behind that they straight-up refused to continue playing. imagine how lame that would be. that's what we're seeing in this clip.
