My husbands body was donated to science through Science Care. It was a very trying time for me & my daughter. Science Care was so very respectful every step of the way. This decision was made by my husband prior to his death. I have no doubt in my mind that it was the right thing to do. My husband was the most generous man I ever knew & this was his final act of generousity.

I signed up with Med Cure several years ago for whole body donation. I need to do some good in this world.Have donated 5 gal of blood and don Apheresis 75 Times then I became diabetic and felt I’ve my share although you can still donate my name is on a plake at the Red Cross Bank along with many others .Makes you feel good to something special
I had no idea of this, but it makes perfect sense. one could keep ashes to bury at a time they want. And why aren't we using some criminals to something useful. giving their life to science is the LEAST they should do for whatever crime. ( I think i sound like a crazy person).
i always try my best with my team of doctors that come to me and ask to try to things; that comes along to help the next generation.. i am a double lung transplant survivor. I'm on board with the whole body donation. i really want to find out well let my family find out what happen since i was miss diagnosed it was to late.
I am stuck with the issue of being an organ donation and donating my body to science because they say you must be in tact (eyes can be donated though ) in order for full body donation to science. I think I would rather save a life by donating everything that is still good inside me to save a life of another but also know that science needs help as well. I have left it up to my children on what they would like to do with me. I wont care because I will be dead :P
I called to get information on how to donate my body to the University of Iowa and was told I could not because I was overweight and they cannot move bodies easily when too much weight.
@@ralphfurley404 I have tried and work on it but am a food addict and don't know how to lose and keep it off. My dr. says it is hard to do when taking insulin.
