My whole body screamed "REMOVE THE STICKER" and in it went anyway 😂😂😂 Edit: A little birdie has been whispering for 7 months now and apparently the stickers are edible. Did anyone know this? 😉🤣
Fruit stickers are edible. Not that you would want too on purpose, but if you did there will be no harm in that. If you were baking an apple pie and forgot to remove the stickers, no big deal. The stickers are edible and controlled by the FDA. The stickers would only be harmful if the label printer that produced the stickers did not follow the FDA guidelines and regulations and printed on a material that is not FDA approved.
I just made this recipe and it is HORRIBLE but i am laughing hard. Theres a good reason why lemon peels are tossed. Bits of lemon all over my mouth and tongue, truly awful, lol.
I always take my stickers off, before I was with my fruit and veggie brush. I eat tons of apples and they all have those stickers. Trust me, I scrub all the wax and chemicals off my fruit! I even scrub the fresh produce that I grow in my own garden! Soak produce in the sink with 3 parts water, to 1 part white vinegar. The vinegar sanitizes and kills any bacteria. 🦠 Then give everything a scrub with a veggie brush, dry, and store.👍
I drove a lemon, and after 3 dates, this ginger dashed. Now, I'm going to a strip club for girls named Cinnamon and Honey. One even looks like Olive Oil but smells of vanilla. After getting wasted, the next day I used a lot of water and ice.
Oh i dearly hope in Cuba they strain the lemon peel bits out of the drink? I just made this and was gagging on all the bits. Lol. Flavor is awesome tho.
These comments tell me... We really don't have that many differences if we watch the same people and have the same anxieties. I'm proud of you strangers today.
Recipe: 1 lemon (sans sticker) 3 dates An inch sized piece of ginger Splash of vanilla Sprinkle of cinnamon 1 tablespoon of olive oil 1 tablespoon of honey A cup and a half of water Blend together til smooth and enjoy over ice
Leaving the sticker on "by accident" strongly demonstrates one thing: It's REALLY easy to manipulate people into increasing the engagement of your videos. 🤣🤣🤣
I bought a BlendJet2 Blender a little over a year ago. I cut a lime into 1/4ths and add 1 tsp. of Truvia and then fill with ice cold spring water ~ blend it rind and all. Pour it over ice. Best limade I have ever had. I also do it with Lemons. Now it's the only way I will drink limeade or lemonade
For everyone whose worried, the fruit and vegetable stickers in the US are edible. They certainly aren’t meant to be consumed regularly 😂 and they have no nutritional value. But they’re relatively safe if eaten by accident from time to time. 😂
Becides, you gotta be careful, becuse sometimes citrus fruits get treated and waxed post harvest and their zest isn't edible! If it is or isn't, you can see on their lable!
The disgusting part is that they don't seem to realize that you're supposed to wash produce well because it has been handled by multiple hands by the time it gets to the grocery store it's full of germs in parasites. Gross
Fun fact the stickers are edible. They're made from a sugar compound and it breaks down and the presence of saliva or water. In case it was accidentally ingested by a child it's not going to be poisonous since it's on literally every one of them, edit: I'm gone for the research this does not apply to all of the stickers but there is a food grade specifically for fruits and vegetables in case of accidental ingestion.
@@meechynailedit as I said that doesn't apply to all stickers because not all companies are regulated the same. I also mentioned that it's a special grade of stickers specifically for that purpose It's not like it's a requirement to have edible stickers It's honestly down to the company's to make them edible or not.
I used to eat lemons, limes, and oranges like apples; ate the skin, pith, and fruit. When I say used to, I mean I still do. I just wash them very well before munching. So good!
I tried this and it's definitely good but is extremely tart especially with the ginger. I would omit the ginger and add more honey or a sweetener then it's freaking amazing
@Keyrose-my3xr you're telling me that everyone who I've ever served a dish with lemon zest to in fine dining restaurants have been dangerously hurt by pesticides including myself?
@@caseydia3957 not just lemon zest. All fruits and vegetables in America are sprayed with pesticides that are illegal in most other countries. Ask yourself why most other countries do not allow this then maybe you will get your answer.
So glad I'm not the only one internally screaming "WHAT ABOUT THE EFFING STICKER?!?!?" And I typed this right before I heard the end, so at least they realized it. Eventually lol.
Y’all too, are my two favorite couple to watch on in the entire RU-vid channel. I could just watch all day long. Please please please keep making clips.
