I did this on the Weber kettle last night for my family. Got 2 pink snapper on there. Was my first time cooking fish on the Weber, so I was a bit nervous. So I followed your video. Was an absolute smash hit!! Loved it! Thanks so much!
Such a good and easy to follow guide. Ol man comes in and asks me to try cook a few fish he caught this morning, never done fish in the webber before, 10 minutes of watching this and they're blown away haha thanks man!

I really liked this video. It's hard to find al video where somebody is cooking a whole fish. They're always cooking a filet, fish steaks or other piece they never cook a whole fish. I'm quite proficient with my Weber kettle I just haven't cooked a whole fish on it yet, something I'm planning to do next not this coming weekend but the weekend after. I'm also cooking some U-12 (12 shrimp or Less per pound) Colossal Shrimp 🦐 stuffed with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat 🦀 and Crabcakes made with 98% Jumbo Lump Crabmeat 🦀. I learned a lot from this video. Also I noticed you don't drown your fish and spices and sweet sugars or sweet syrup and all kinds of other crap which takes away from the fish flavor. If you have any kind of high quality meat, beef, pork, poultry, Seafood I believe you should let the meat shine. Kosher Salt (it has 75% less sodium, the part that's bad for you) and fresh cracked black, Cayenne or some other type of hot pepper is all I use unless I'm doing something like barbecued ribs or chicken, that's a different story. I just don't see why people spend all this money for high-quality meet then mask the taste of it with all these other things. I noticed your use of the phrase "You All" here in North Carolina (the South) God's Country, we say "Y'all" as in, God Bless Y'all, Jimmy in NC....
Great video! Just wondering could I cook 2 x 2kg fish side by side on the one kettle or is it better to cook them individually? Will cooking 2 affect the cooking time?
Thanks Wokebear, sorry for the late reply. I'd go with rice with most fish as a side dish. I cook it in chicken stock and then add some chives at the end. If not some char grilled veggies like capsicum (bell peppers) shallots, tomatoes and garlic always go down really well. 🍻
Awesome recipe and method. I'll be keen to try this one. On another note though your videos look super cool, very professional, but the audio needs attention...please fix all the breathing sounds it makes it feel very unprofessional and doesn't match the rest of your video. Overall great channel!
Hey Danniel Cohen I'm guessing you are talking about the red one on my table? They were a limited release through Teleflora in America a few years ago for a Fathers Day promotion. Keep a look out on Ebay USA and they do pop up from time to time. 🍻
