The scenery I would never get tired of looking at and particularly with the snow simply stunning. The love that you put into your meals for your family is amazing Priscilla. The look on little Chloe’s face when the Swedish bun come from the oven was beautiful. I will definitely try the bread and the Swedish bun recipes as we have a food shortage currently in my part of Australia so it’s time to go back to basics. Bless you all.

Beautiful! I grew up Mennonite in PA and NY, but we moved to Alaska early in our marriage. Now we are grandparents! I love the warmth of your home life! I make a tea ring mostly just at Christmas. I found the recipe years ago and it’s the centerpiece of our Christmas breakfast, which now includes our grandchildren! One grandson has learned to make it. One Christmas years ago when we were missionaries living in a small remote village, I made different sizes of tea rings for every household in the village! It was fun and my oldest daughter helped deliver them. She still talks about that! Mine is a very soft dough that doesn’t need kneading and calls for a teaspoon of cardamom which gives the dough a wonderful flavor.
Lovely lady, I did not want this video to end. I so enjoyed your meal preparation and especially when the children were gathered around watching you making the Swedish Tea Ring. During my childhood (I'm 72), a sweet lady in our community made them. My favorite was one with pineapple filling. You have a very pleasant voice. Love your channel.❤
Everything looked delicious but I think the second meal was my favorite. The pot pie stew looked so delicious and that Swedish Tea Ring had my mouth watering. This brought tears to my eyes. My mom, who has been with the Lord now 3yrs, used to make swedish tea rings for special occasions. She would use a carmel frosting. They were so good! This brought back many happy memories! Thank you♥
Hi Priscilla Try adding cinnamon, a little nutmeg, pinch of cloves or cardamom plus chopped dried fruit to the oatmeal as it cooks. Sometimes I add some unsweetened coconut too. See if your family likes a little more flavor in the oatmeal.
That tea ring was GORGEOUS!! Your turkey stew looked especially good after adding the dumplings. You should crush your garlic separately wait 10 to 15 minutes for the chemical reaction that is beneficial for your body to happen. I just recently learned about that then you stick the garlic in to cook
Love this video, it was wonderful to watch someone else cook and you are so nice and neat with all your cooking.. I love to cook from scratch but I can get a bit messy at times.
