I think I may have messed this one up... Instagram: / jankum_man Discord: / discord Other Channel: www.youtube.com/@alrightmen/f... #gaming #rainworld #animal #comedy #evolution #challenge #survival #explore
Holy shit this has been quite an eventful episode! Remember in the last video when I mentioned that Shaded Citadel and Garbage Wastes connect to the same destination? Well, it's Shoreline! (I'll be using acronyms so that this comment doesn't get too long) Arriving to SL from GW is a completely different vibe compared to arriving from SC; and since SL is a newly discovered region, I personally recommend finding the GW-SL karma gate to begin exploration because there's a lot of cool sights you missed! Okay I know everyone else is ragging you on about killing the blue robot but I'm more impressed than depressed about the fact that you ate all five of the little flies above her! Most people would leave the flies alone, others would eat a one or two, but you are the first ever RW player I've seen to actually eat all five flies on your first meeting. Normally I would be a bit concerned about the trivial usage of passages, but the blue robot is no longer among us so it shouldn't weigh as heavily on my mind. You can actually select which specific shelters (as long as they're discovered) you can passage to. As someone who has beaten every Slugcat campaign, I know which region you are in but I won't spoil its name (unless some other idiot in the comment section decides their mouth hasn't been open enough yet). I will give one hint: in terms of story progression, exploring this region would be analogous to skipping to the final few chapters of a novel while you are decently close to reaching the halfway point. Simply but, don't worry feeling like you must explore the region you've just slept in; you will inevitably return as it's required for the story. Save the exploration for Shoreline as it's one of the few water regions in the game that is actually good! So overall, the last three episodes (this one included) have been straight up bangers in a row! Although some people might not like this video due to how the story flow has been rather "disrupted," this video made the most amount of progress by reaching one intended destination and discovering a future destination well before it's needed! One last hint: once you're done exploring Shoreline and/or the region you slept in, there are two key points on interest back in Shaded Citadel to resume story flow. Good luck, have fun, and please excuse my long ass comments!
Hey thanks! You've given me a bunch of helpful info in your comments. To be fair, I don't think I'm as interested in exploring the entire game, as I am in finishing it and maybe trying another slugcat after. (partially because these vids don't do very well despite them being fun to make) But thanks again, and glad you enjoyed!
@@jankster You're welcome! I know that Rain World doesn't perform as well as your spore videos; but, it's always lovely to play something unique! Who knows... Maybe if you like the game enough, you can play the DLC campaigns in the far future to occasionally spice up your content schedule (similar to how base game Survivor is spicing up your current content schedule now).
The robot you encountered is called Looks to the Moon and the little white things you ate are called neurons (they're the robot's braincells essentially). Eating one can make you glow permanently and are even a food source in another area of the game but since you ate all of Moon's neurons, you killed her. I don't know how to revive her without reverting your save but it's progress over a character that can give you a lot of lore. Also Iggy (the yellow one) stops appearing if you eat one of the neurons. (Moon is the one that can read you pearls once you find a way to understand her) The area you're in right now is called Farm Arrays and is more of a late game area. I'd suggest going back to Industrial Complex instead and exploring that area more. I can't explain why without spoilers but it's not a good idea to progress into the Farm Arrays at the moment. Now to more helpful and non spoilery tips: - In addition to spears, you can also use rocks to knock fruit off their vines. - Blue leeches are indeed more deadly. They seem heavier than normal red leeches and can drag you down a lot faster - Jet squids/jet fish are not dangerous and can even help you swim faster in the water if you manage to catch one - The giant creature you saw is a leviathan. It will eat you if it sees you. Luckily their easy to avoid and there is only two in the entire world - Jellyfish can be eaten for food but can also be used as a weapon. If you throw a jellyfish at a creature, it will zap/stun it. Very helpful for killing lizards and vultures. - I highly suggest eating the baby centipedes. They offer double the food value over most other foods! - If you ever find yourself unable to jump a gap, you can do this little trick called jump boosting. If you jump (charge jump or standard jump, it works on either), throwing an object, like a spear or a rock, will give you extra distance. I don't think it works with food, creatures, or pearls so keep that in mind.
I think it is better if he will go to the Shaded Citadel. Becouse in Citadel he will find more interesting way for storyline. Without shortcuts across the "Wall".
Ok but the Leg/Underhang DESTROYED me when I first played 😅 As much as I want to see him stumble across certain creatures, I want to save him the insanity
i feel bad for robot lady(not saying her name) but at least her dying to survivor is not canon so no need to feel toooo bad about it ig idk if this is much help but usually after meeting her i go back to industrial complex to go to an area you havent gone yet, then after that i go to the wall(another area),idk if this is too direct but it would be really hard to progress without iggys guidance since you kindaa killed his "owner" now this is just the way i do it,there are other ways to go to the place youre supposed to go,this is just the one i consider the better one, but im aware most people take the route through the shaded citadel to get to said place the region you finished the video on is quite a lategame one but its good to know where it is
-Eats the flying things he sees for the first time -Sees a robot seize in pain -Gets scared he harmed the robot -Eats more anyways -Understands what he is doing -Still eats the last one -The robot dies "What? What happened?" -Claims that he killed it on "accident" -Saves the game
@@jankster hey it's ok, i had a similar experience as you. i noticed, on my first visit, that i started to glow when i got to the robot, but i didnt realize it was due to me eating the flying thing. on future games i kept going there to be glowy again, but i eventually realized that was bad for the robot. i, then, promised to myself that id find the robot more or these flying things.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Btw I typed out every one of these Os by hand, on phone, would not recommend
