This is my favorite fishing channel by far. the video's perspective gives me the impression that I am throwing the lure. Matt's skills, even demeanor and love of fishing show through on every show. any gear manufacturer that doesn't sponsor him is missing a great opportunity.

Hey Matt I just want to thank you again for your channel. We don't know each other but like many people I feel we are kindred. I've learned so much just from watching what you do and what you pick as targets. Getting better every time. I spent last Wednesday and today catching fish in my Kayak Wednesday and in a KaBoat with my dad today. This man is 80+yrs old, bent over after a back surgery and no longer has a boat so he was excited to get out on the water. We just paddled around a 200yrd stretch of river and Chatted, bonded, threw a couple ploppers and floated back. He taught me everything I know about life and about fishing (until I saw your channel). Today wasn't super productive, I caught 2 and he was so jealous he started trying to do what I was doing. Still, it was a great day. He told me this was just what the Dr ordered. He wants to go again next Monday. I'm more than inclined to oblige him.

I have been watching your channel pretty much since the beginning. Always enjoy you videos and the fact that you just simply fish and don’t have kayaks full of gear and motors and all that junk shows you don’t have to spend a fortune to catch fish of good quality!

Man I had never even heard of a Whopper Plopper until watching your videos, and now they are my go-to Bass fishing lure. I just have so much fun fishing top water for Bass that any other way has started to pale in comparison. Really appreciate all the work you put in man!

I used to fish throughout my youth and for some reason I quit. I haven't fished in years and your channel made me realize that was the dumbest thing I ever did. Tied into my first muskie on my 12.6 foot canoe. What a battle! As I was only going for "casual" fishing, I left some of my accessories, namely a net, at home. No choice but to battle him to shore, but only a few feet from shore, he did a flip and off he went! All the years fishing this lake and it was "the thousandth cast". That'll learn me!
