I love Shania & she has got the coolest voice, fun songs, shes iconic, the whole bit.. but Alison is the greatest in that entire room. 👑🐐 Theres alot of talent on that stage :)
Sometimes the backing is the real thing. Shania s got the fame, but she will never collect the awards that Alison Krauss is holding. Always liked Shanias stuff. Always like Alison’s stuff even more.
it's a funny thing...I know that at that time Allison Krauss (and actually all of Union Station) were a full-fledged entity, but to back Shania up for an occasion like this was a great gathering of players and backing musicians. To have Alison Krauss playing fiddle for you and singing backup..it doesn't get any better than that.
Hirena. Oh my she really turned the country music around . She gave country women singers a twist on her version of country pop music. The only woman artist to have had written 50 to 70 of her own songs since the age of 8yrs old. Country women were wonderin who she was they didn't like her when she came on to the scene . Lol she's the best thank U lord bless her 💓.As 4 mutt Lange he didnt deserve her, Only the lord judges our wrongs AMEN.
@IsCoolSilke Just looking at these comments. Just to clear this up Alison is not being weird, I have seen behind the scenes to this concert and its actually a teleprompter next to the camera with the lyrics on, Alison and her band only had a week to prepare and perform this concert so I noticed that Alison actually looks in that direction a lot, as does Shania may I add. Still a great performance and perfect artists to match up!!
Those Deerhurst Hotel gig of hers before she was signed as a recording artist really taught her how to use her space on stage and how to be a show person. It really shows in this video.
@neanderpaul It really is, but in this case shania was actually having trouble with her voice, that's one of the reasons she stoped performing in 2004! ^^ and yeah it really does suck when they do that! :D
Shania Twain is a double impossibility: It's impossible to look like that when you're going on 40, and it's impossible to sell that many records playing hillbilly-pop.
Did the thought ever occur to you that music producers actually edit the music to their liking, to what they believe sounds better? What you hear live is unedited, the actual "original key".
