There's so much chaos going on in the first twenty-seconds 😮 Yellow rat and ho-oh with wrong items, 3 going top lane, jungler stealing lane farm at start, eevee pinging thanks. Truly a ranked Unite experience
Here's how its Dev's fault = If you buy a new pokemon and have never played it before the pokemon has scope lense and leftovers most of the time (it doesn't matter if the pokemon is attack or special attack, bad items are guranteed if you never set them before). They also give you items like Leftovers, Assult vest and Rockey helmet for FREE when you are new. Many players never upgrade or change those items, that's why they are the most common items for bad players Top players of certain pokemon that play only quick matches = They purposely put wrong items on mons to confuse people. There's a Dragonite and Goodra top player (DragonLatias or something), i met him and he said he does it on purpose because its fun and he doesn't care Player themselves = If you play any game, you should research a bit. Idk how can someone enjoy a game without understanding what are they even doing
the point about researching is soo true, these players don't even think about researching, they just download because of pokemon & play it 4-5 times a day, they don't put a single effort to learn what's going on in the game, they do this for every game they play, they are dumbasses, after getting bored they start scrolling social media endlessly
@@GxEnjoyer For real, the ranking of top players for each Pokémon is a complete joke as it is currently. You have Bot Match spammers, who never go outside of Quick and Casual matches, so that they can get easy wins. And then you also have negative WR players in there. Just look at uniteAPI, the top 1 Lucario player has a 48% WR with it, the top 1 Eldegoss player also has a 48% WR with it. The top 3 Decidueye player, 48% WR. Top 8 A9 player, 49% WR. Top 14 Blissey, 45% WR. It's already bad that you can be a part of the rank by just abusing bot matches in Casuals and Quick matches, but then you can also be a part of the top 100 by losing more than you win? How? Why? Who thought this was a good idea for a TOP RANK system?
Purposefully putting on the wrong items to "confuse people" would only nerf your stats and work on idiot opponents. 💀 So trying to use that as a "strategy" doesn't make any sense...lol
Maybe it's because people don't know about the difference between sp.atk and atk. I've never played a pokemon game before Unite so I just assumed every attack item was the same when I started and I also feel like the way damage is calculated in Pokémon games is complicated and in Unite it doesn't actually mention all the effects of an item in game, so someone could watch a video of someone saying "hey this item is good for this Pokémon" but they wouldn't know why or only have a rough idea. Even now I don't fully understand how every item works, but I'm too lazy to go look for it on sites like Unite.db and a new player is unlikely to trust sites not affiliated with the games creators.
its so easy to climb to master rank anyway, because absolutely everyone is crap at the game so its absolutely easy to just use an op pokemon and absolutely go wild, they really need to make the game harder by making a level needed to unlocked ranked
It is the ranked system leting everyone get the highest Rank These people should be stuck on beginners, and the desire to Rank up would make them seek out the Knowledge, but since they can get every ranked reward anyways, they dont need to do that
@@kuruminightcore326yes they will but they will have to improve or they will get stuck at middle ranks Also demote should be an option so if by any chance any of those clowns reach Ultra they get sent back to where they belong
@@kuruminightcore326 Agreed. People tend to do this because it's a typical psychological defence mechanism. However what makes it worse in Unite is that the game does everything it can to make players feel amazing in lower ranks and hide how badly they do once they're against real people. No wonder they develop MC syndrome and play overaggressively. "If I've been doing so well, how am I the problem?" Worse still, the ones that eventually do get a clue about the bot BS and how loose the Ranked system is will STILL blame "bad team mates" for everything. At some point you gotta wake up and accept you have nobody but yourself to control and improve unless you join a premade team. People be acting like they have the solo queue skills of CrisHeroes when in reality they're 51% WR or lower that spams a ton of games before they even hope to see 1600s lol.
I gave up questioning. In my experience, they always have blue or gold ribbon also. Not only that but they're good as well. Now, I think they're just handicapping themselves lol
This problem shouldnt be even a thing imo. My major complain about my allies are the vision. Vision is so crucial in this game and can turn a bad game into a great game just by knowing when push for a ko or defend an ally or even in a team fight (this matter in all roles in the game). Just knowing this and when partecipate in team battles, make the game so much better and you can manage your positioning better. Positioning and vision are the key to learn how to play this game in general. You combine how to use a pokemon and how roles, items, held items and medals work. You would have a good understanding of the game. Watching a content creator is so good for learning how a pokemon works and i think in this channel is the best on doing that.
same. Its not as obvious as you would think. One ex for me was Charizard. You would think Charizard would be special attack b/c of mainline games but he's not.
@@steve.m7443 Not to mention some moves listed as Attack-based works like Special Attack-based and vice versa, like Charizard's Flamethrower and Fire Blast or Duraludon's entire kit. When Duraludon was released, I genuinely thought it was a Special attacker only to realise later that day it was not, all simply because Duraludon has a higher Special Attack in the main games
At the beginning I was running wrong items because I was thinking more of the mainline series and I was playing Greninja and Charizard with special attack items yet they're physical attackers.
What's interesting is that both the pikachu and ho-oh players have the same mindset. I took a quick look, and the pika player uses drain crown/attack weight on all their mons, while the ho oh player uses floatstone/helmet on all theirs. At this point, it is more the fault of the player for being stubborn with their builds.
When I first started playing, I understood that this was a competitive game and I did my research to understand the best items to upgrade to lvl 30 for my main at that time with the upgrade items that they give you. After that, I even restricted myself to only use Pokémon that also use these items until I upgraded others. I was in Beginner back then, and even now I encounter people that doesn't know how to properly play in Ultra and Master
2 things: -The game can be more clear about the differences between Atk and Sp Atk. I only found out by digging online, not from the game - the game can put a little warning when you try to equip something like crown on pikachu
I for one had no idea about items at first and was raw dogging without emblem as well😂😂 i saw cris, spragels videos and came to know abour different items
1.It’s the players fault for being selfish and feeling like they don’t need to research the game. 2.It’s timis fault for being both selfish and greedy and not promoting the top RU-vidrs on the main page of the game to help eliminate this issue.
1. Not just selfish, lacking common sense and basic observation skills of seeing other people's held items on that pokemon. And zero curiousity or seriousness. 2. Yep
You can't experiment with something that doesn't work at all. 💀 There's really no excuse for Attack Weight/Drain Crown Pika when the Pokemon and items are both labled with Attack or Special Attack.
this is crazy. but it is true that a lot of players are still using wrong items. those players play a lot of games. lol. in fact, their win rate is low
There are 2 types of bad Ho-Oh players: - the ones that don't have a functioning ZL button - the ones that play like their Unite move revives themselves And they will always be on your team
Tbf items should have more weight to them. If you pick the wrong items it severely handicaps you and you get stuck in a lower elo. I wouldnt want to take certain items away from mons. Like muscle band can be decent on an sp attacker like glaceon. There could be an In game prompt saying the items are not optimal on that mon.
This is becoming very popular. I have had at least more 7 games in a day with troll items like atk weight, razor claw, scope lens, rocky helmet and float stone on Espeons, Pikachu, Gardevoirs etc.
when I first played Pokemon Unite, I always ran Greninja with Exp Share, attack weight, and scope. I always thought that attack weight was for physical attacks while the stacking glasses were for ranged attacks ( like the ranged basic attack or water shuriken). I played this build til I got the green ribbon. I then learned
I agree they should block on att items if your character is a sp att and vice versa; but maybe exclude a couple like muscle band since they can work for both. I would hope this might help player understand their options more
it doesnt even need research honestly. its basic reading capabilities. pokemon are marked wether they are special attack or attack based. and each item tells which stats it buffs in stat form and ability. so its just average player that doesnt read
@@CraneCroak Na bro the real issue is people thinking held items as fashion equipments. Now come on beat the rizz of my sp atk specs, scarf, assault vest blaziken!! I bet you can't.
Thats why i wanted the game to at least tell u when u use certain battle items those items won't be usefull in the mon using it so at least those players they will see that they are wrong
I rarely commentate on your videos. But this one is hitting a nerve. The matchmaking in this game for the last month or so is as bad as i never experienced it before. Pretty much all of my team members are running bad sets and completely wrong items. But there sense of Team Play and general knowledge of the game or pokemon in generell is non existent. I have one bad game After the other and I dont know if I have the courage to fight through it. It doesnt even matter which mode I am playing. I always try to support my team. Love to play defenders or support normaly. I loved to play this game, but for now im barely having any fun. This Meta for the Last months of just annoying the player through endless stuns and all this other bullshit doesnt help. Im solo queying most of the time as well. Sorry for ranting on for so Long. But I feel that I cant be the only one who is upset with the game in this current state. And the most annoying thing is that this game could be everything we could ever imagine, or hoping a Pokémon Game could be. But the Defs decided otherwise. Or who is deciding these kind of things. Thank you for reading this. Have a nice day guys 🤙🏼
for those wondering about Drain Crown: a good way to test how viable Drain Crown is, is to use it on Razor Leaf Decidueye against bot matches/low ladder, if even Deci cannot use it well, no one should use drain crown (others seem to heal a lot more, in reality is because due to their moves function, like Char i believe its Unite Move heals 80% off its damage during its unite, so it doesnt deal much damage but sustains a lot)
The only real problem with this game is the skill of the player base. This game used to be so funbut it seems like many good players quit and its kinda trash now a waste of time. I remember playing matches where both my team and enemy team are highlycompetetive and its so fun but now all you find is low skill players
@pumpkin7446 well, I'm trying find it too but it can't be found xD I stopped playing now but it'd like an addiction right lol watching Cris videos is like my nicotine patch for unite
@@ClooneyThunder I rarely SoloQ anymore. Game is miserable to play without my Duo buddy to laugh at the chaos with. You're right though. It's easier to watch Cris suffer than do it ourselves. He handles it better than I do xD
they should make it so people in Rank are forced to pre-equip 3 items on all Pokemon or that Pokemon will be blanked out from being picked. And on top of that, they should make it so all Pokemon can only equip Items specific to them. But then again, whats gonna stop them from muscle band, rapid fire scarf and rocky helmet pikachu 🤔 Yeah no as I typed this, I lost more hope.
With the randomness of Unite players may not even notice anything wrong with their builds even if they suck. They probably get placed in bot games they may not even know are bot games and go off thinking the is some utility to their build
Both parties are at fault. For the players, the reasons are obvious. For Timi, its bad item recommendations & also the descriptions and how they apply to certain pokemon are sometimes a little cryptic. Like I can't tell you how many times an inder or Cris video taught me details on certain items that I never knew b/c the games doesn't explain it
Doing it too early gives the enemies potential comeback exp from indeedees on the enemy side that spawn only after the goal is broken. That same exp also doesn't spawn on your side on the map anymore unless your own goal is broken, giving your team a net loss in available exp. Basically, breaking the goal early is fine IF you are very confident in still being able to contest the enemy exp after. Also regieleki value goes down if you have no points to score with, which you likely wont have if you spend them all on tier 1 goal and can't contest enemy farm
Idk man. I feel like if you're in a team based game that uses text info, you should be able to read before trying ranked. I agree that Timi has a lot of the fault. But at some point a player has to take responsibility too.
Yeah, so every unite player that soloque's complain about how matchmaking could be horrible because of the other terrible soloque players you are with. And people are mad that the matchmaking pairs you up with multiple weird and trash soloque players
IDG why it's that hard to make a warning that says: You are equipping a Sp.Atk item on an Atk. pokemon (and vice-versa), this will not increase the damage of their moves and basic attacks, do you still want to continue equipping this item?
This game has somehow managed to collect the most brain-dead player base. So many 5k+ game players with sub 50% win-rate, horrible play style , and wrong builds.
I would like to point out there must be losers for there to be winners, and this season the win rates ranked hard at the start almost like Timi trying more new matching algorithms. But having a lot of below 50% implies there are groups not being looked at that average an over 50% win rate
It is the perfect storm, exclusive switch players aren’t familiar with pvp or “competitive” play, on top of mainline Pokémon games gameplay nature. I think they literally just find the macro/micro too hard and instead treat it with the mindset of a single player game, so not focusing on proper item build or in game strategy like team fights or obj secures etc
@@pumpkin7446 mayb I didn’t word it as well, I’m not trying 2b condescending or insulting, my point is if someone doesn’t practice or isn’t exposed to something, how are they gonna be competent at it?
I think there just casuals that just play that what they think seems good i also always runned just Items that i thought were good and i used in the mainline games until i thought if other Items are better because none of my Teammates played my Items
@@TomatenSalatVerkeufer I literally cannot think of another game with a ranked mode where the casual fan base can regularly achieve max rank. I believe in unite, it is by design. Which is causing dissonance in the player base itself
Do you think timi could just put a notice on when you try to equip items that are useless on a Pokemon. All it takes is a *not recommended* people obviously don’t look at the suggestions so needs to be more in their face.
I think matchmaking is blame here. Because why you should to try be learn something in this game if matching not only makes its climbing to master insanely easy but also gives great players who can carry you if cant play the game
Did it also hurt your eyes when 3 of his teammates had 0 KOs at the end of the game compared to his 14 and Ray secure? There's being a troll and then there's being delusional. 😂
@@pumpkin7446 Yes, my sentence is backing him up. In no sense of world should Absol a jungler to be playing a offlane. Its hurting the powerspike, I swear this game needs playerbase that knows the minimum of MOBA
@@zaqu837 Cris has played and enjoyed lane Absol on purpose plenty of times. So it was easy to think that your comment was against him. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Bro those who have mastered certain Pokemon also keep this type of build , when new players search on example sets these pro players show the wrong build😂😂😂 and change to original build when playing.
