Jordan 11’s are damn near the same price… 250 isn’t that much. The FOG1 cost 350 with Nike. Wave Runners were 300.. shoot, most retro Jordans are now 200+. This price inline with current market for most shoes (to me)

I think people got betrayed by their own expectations. They went into this thinking they’d get Essentials pricing as opposed to mainline, but this isn’t even crazy from adidas. The sneakers cost the same as a pair of Y-3 sweats and they cost almost 1/3 the price of a FoG mainline hoodie. People shouldn’t take not being the target demographic personal.

I think a majority of potential clients were ones who have only ever purchased essential and never the mainline stuff. Due to that, they were shocked that someone would ask this much considering they only been exposed to lower price points to begin with.

100%. I am coming from the other angle. I've always got mainline stuff and when I saw these for 250 I thought there were a steal. Did everyone forget how much the Nike colab stuff was? I don't fully get the outrage over this. Do people assume adidas is a cheaper brand than Nike therefore it should be less? The essentials buyers are the only thing that makes sense. Still I assume if you are wearing a 100$ pair of sweats and a hoody the 250 for shoes shouldn't feel that steep...

One thing I’ve noticed about the shoes is the quality control. There are no visible glue stains on both these and the 86 Lo’s from what I’ve seen. If the 86s end up going on sale I need the Talc colorway

I think they dope, I was able to get both basketball pairs and two diffrent color 86 low. Great quality and look. Does fit snug. I went a full size up , I have wide feet. Other then that Great buy for me.

I’m still waiting for my pair in the mail. I feel like this pair does play off the FOG 1 but why I like it. Ppl forgot or wasn’t around when them dropped at $350 retail. I expected the clothing line to be in between the main and essentials line but it was a little more than I expected being a adidas line essentially

Quality in person on these are amazing and super premium. I would say go up a full size if you’re a wide footer. I am tts 10.5. But I wear size 11 because I’m a wide footer. So I got an 11. They feel okay, just need to break them in though.

Lows are absolutely awesome. Chunky but slim. Great pair. My Bskbll 1 are otw and I went a full size up from my Jordan 1 and .5 up from my yeezy 350 size and my fog 86 low size. Hopefully they arent canoes on foot.

If you’re gonna check out either the 86 Lo or the Los Angeles Runner, you’ll prob enjoy the runner much more because it’s way lighter, has mixed suede and ripstop upper, and more wide foot friendly. It’s also $160 compared to $200 for the 86 Lo.

I'd like to see a review of the low top version if you can. The shoe is cool because it's innovative. However, I think he needs to consider making it at a slightly lower price point. But I take it they know what they are doing. Hopefully they make plenty of shoes so the shoes are accessible.

yea I would agree that the pricing beside the clothing are not that bad at all. When u compare them to other Jordan shoes and collabs that have happened in recent months and years shit Tiffany Af1 where $400 retail and nobody was crying about those. Amm 5s where $265 and people still bought em up. Gratitude 11s that just dropped $250 after shipping and tax. Yet a company thats considered a designer brand does a collab with Adidas and makes a shoe and its basically $130 cheaper then Nikes x Fog shoe and they still complain and think its suppose to be cheaper. Like the Asics x Gallery Dept shoe that literally has just paint splattered on them are $300+ retail and people are saying they're fire.

I remember ppl talking about fog Nike and ye’s drop when it first came out saying str8 to outlets n trash, slides sat for god knows how long….now look. The more ppl don’t want em the more I do. I like rocking kicks that many ppl aren’t wearing. All ppl do is follow hype smfh. I love the kicks copped basketball, runner and talc’s 86 lo. Happy I can get kicks without any issue

Got my shoe this is a well made shoe very well i love the fact that there a NO glue stains at all on the shoe we pay $225 and up for Jordans and glue all over the place the box set up is great with the shoes in bags and i went true to size and the shoe is fine PEOPLE find a reason to cry about a shoe even if they never had it in Hand

I'm a fan. I love the aesthetic and look of the sneaker and the whole apparel line up. But I do agree with you that they are pricey and if you can't afford them, dont buy them. There will be many more sneakers. The carbon pair is clean and it's an elevated sneaker which is why I copped. It's different and for that alone I'm in. I'm tired of the played out AJ1 or AJ3 or AJ4 or Dunk or Yeezy 350...you get it. We should want different and new and fresh.

Nahhhh, just got mine today, if you put your hands and eyes on these sneakers, there’s no gotdamn way you can tell me they’re not $250 shoes. You got Yeezys 350 and 700s out here cost $240-$300 and these blow them out the water. The materials are next level, the foam is a higher quality than boost, the RF welds on the fabric, no loose strings anywhere, no glue splatters, no blue light imperfections. If you’re complaining, when some damn 30 year old Jordans are costing $180 with crooked lace holes, warped rubber, inferior leather and Jordan 3/4s $230+ again with crazy QC issues. I own all them shoes, this right here coulda said Prada or LV on it and costs $700 and no one woulda said shit. Adidas has some Gucci Sambas for six bills….next person that complains about price needs to stop slobbing Yeezy nuts and get a damn real job. I’m actually happy y’all crying. but, because it is "athletic wear", the most important use case that you must assess is the shoe' playability on the court. once it sucks, the whole thing is just another gimmick. heard good things about Yeezy basketball shoes, shame it doesn't translate to on court success, but I do saw a couple of them in the wilderness (indoor court mostly). I understand people will be like chill out dog its just another shoe from the millions of releases out there, but me personally feel attacked if they got the nerve to charged that much money as a justification of using the "athletic wear" term.
