David Kenner was a criminal attorney who moonlighted as an entertainment lawyer. 2Pac needed an entertainment attorney who only focused on the business of entertainment (movies, commercials, record contracts) etc. It was a huge conflict of interest for Kenner to represent Death Row and 2Pac simultaneously.
Yeah Tupac was a hell of an artist but a horrible business man, I don't understand where his me against the world money went, he had the number one album in the country, but they couldn't come up with a little over a million?? Jasmine guy and Jada went around begging people, pac should have bonded his damn self out
@@kerry2921 One thing I do know is at that time he was taking care of his entire family from his mother Afeni, Aunt Glo, Cousins and The Outlawz/Dramacydal. He was spending it as fast as it came along with having serious lawyer fees because he kept catching cases.
@@TopFlightGeneral0220 but the record went number one after he was found guilty, he was in prison when it was released, and it didn't stop, it was still moving units
“He sent us to the studio to get cassettes of what he’d done the night before-he wanted to listen to it. They said no, that Kenner wouldn’t allow it. Pac went crazy! He fired Kenner." Thats the real reason
“These felonies be like prophecies Beggin' me to stop ‘cause these Lawyers gettin' money every time they knock us Snatchin' pockets lyrically, suckers flee when they notice Switched my name to Makaveli, half the rap game quote us Exposed foes with my hocus-pocus flows, they froze Now suckers idolize my chosen blows And mo' money mean litigatin', mo' playa hatin' Got a cell at the pen' for me waitin'-is this my fate? Miss me with that misdemeanor thinkin', me fall back.” Pac was 50 steps ahead of you suckas Reggie 😎🤣🤣🤣🤣 ahhhh haaaa
It's "Half the Rap Game Ghost"...But Pac was way ahead of "everybody" Trust me when I say "everything" was planned. He picked the Alias Makaveli for a reason...Because he had the "Secrets of War" Listen the man's Lyrics...He tells you himself what's about to happen...Dudes a "Legend" in so many ways..."21 Gun Salute " to " Makaveli the Don" 👑
He knew better at the end he's seeing what death row is doing with his 💰 and he knew David was a part of that so he wanted nothing to do with him going forward he was trying to get ready to cut tires and go his own way he was going to start his own label and sign his own acts and basically do what Dre did to suge leave him start his own label and move on
@@sports872 Well it is a sample from another song from Daft Punk. I'm just curious to why it would be placed there and why? If it was strategically placed there to stir conspiracy theories.
@@SalNiner actually u know what it was south city, cuz it was a small one story building near a Bart Station. Redwood city is the big county court building right? That's where I was locked up at Mgwire, but court was in South City
Lmao he just said “you don’t mess with a person who have control over you, he eventually learned” 🤔 so he fired you too and you couldn’t take so you lined him up ? 🤔
@@panamasamm5072Probably never sat right with Jerry that Eazy fired him. I never believed Suge gave E Aids I suspected Jerry Heller cause Jerry had E go to his doctor.

Reggie, need to hear an explanation of your fire detector situation. Mine are always a pain in the ass but curious what you're running into. Just not dealing with it? Or, changed battery didn't do the trick? Eventually, you might as well just take them all out
Kenner was probably the best criminal lawyer at the time but Pac was Pac! He could’ve represented himself. His posters are all over my wall. Also, I’m a socially retarded weirdo
I thought Suge had pac fire Kenner as his entertainment lawyer because it was a conflict of interest to use Kenner as a criminal and entertainment lawyer
THE SMOKE DETECTOR BRO. HOW LONG AND WE GOING TO DO THIS MAN?????? IT TAKES 1 MINUTE TO CHANGE THE BATTERY. SOMEBODY DO SOMEBODY. JOHN REGGIE??? ANYBODY

Reggie have you seen the new 2pac lyrics? I was able to get a hold of them. Apparently he had written this song like a couple months before he died but it was never released. Here go the lyrics..... I wrote this song a long time ago A real long time ago Way before Chief Keef started all that TRAP Way before the Migos was making mumble RAP I wrote this song a long time ago A real long time ago Way before you could look up things on WIKIPEDIA, Way before Reggie Wright was on social MEDIA I wrote this song before George Floyd went to Heaven's GATES, I wrote this song in 88
Yeah it didn't make sense for pac to fire Kenner for his defense lawyer and that reason alone is why I don't believe pac planned on leaving deathrow at that time especially with the appeal case still in play.
I love Tupac music but pac was a Gemini them people are like night and day I promise you 😂😂 One minute he was in New York telling Suge he didn’t want nothing to do with death row he was cutting makaveli and he wasn’t riding with no sell out niggas like snoop after hearing him get on the radio and say he was still cool with puffy and biggie to ending up in Vegas right next to Suge at the mike Tyson fight and no one put a gun to his head and told him he had to be there….they already said he was looking to go to Atlanta to check his cousin but he ended up in Vegas he was a superstar dealing with pressure that most of us would’ve folded under….Rip Tupac
Aside from it being a conflict of interest, I think David Kenner had too many duties were thrown at him. So, I could see how Suge thought that David was stealing money from the company in part because too many responsibilities/duties were assigned to David when it shouldn't. Yet, this still doesn't mean that 2Pac was leaving Death Row Records.
@@sms130official I always wondered what the hell happened to his me against the world album money, it sold like crazy number 1 album in the country, your bond is a little over a million, and you got Jada and jasmine collecting bond money, he should have bonded himself out, dude was horrible with the business side
@Kerry At the time, (I think) Me Against The World only sold like 2 million in physical record sales. So, it wasn't as if it sold really huge numbers at that time. Interscope got their cut. A lot of that money probably went on legal fees as well as other things relating to him. He had a label venture with Interscope for Out Da Gutta Records, his family had to be taken care of, etc. So, that money probably didn't last long or stretch as much. That's part of why 2Pac reached out to Suge/Death Row while he was incarcerated in the first place. He didn't have money on his books. Also, some of that money essentially helped bail him out without fully realizing it at the time.
@@sms130official yeah I was just thinking since he was locked up, the money was just stacking because he was in prison and couldn't spend it, I know Afeni went to interscope to borrow the money and maybe because of the charge they wouldn't do it, it's like my album is my collateral you see it's doing numbers but they weren't having it, but yeah he was just horrible at the business side, he literally would have signed anything suge put in front of him
@Kerry Yeah, to some degree 2Pac was going thru it while in prison. I don't think 2Pac was a horrible businessmen because he did take care of his business and made some good decisions. 2Pac signing to Death Row Records wasn't a horrible deal nor was it a horrible idea. There were some positives in his journey with Death Row. There were still some attachments with Interscope despite 2Pac possibly feeling some type of way towards them. His Interscope contract was assigned to Death Row, which in part was why he was able to switch over to Death Row in the first place.
Reggie is always saying things the way they really were, there is no bullshitting with him. We are listening to too many bullshit about Pac from people they wanna make us believe something that's not true and didnt happen. Reggie always tells the truth
But I’m curious as to how Suge got popped on the kick that ultimately violated his probation and Kenner was relieved of the business side of things doesn’t that seem like a strange coincidence or maybe it’s just me?🤷🏾♂️
I WILL PERSONALLY PUT UP YHE MONEY TO REPLACE THE BATTERIES IN REGGIES SMOKE ALARM! HOW DO YOU CONTINUE THE INTERVIEW WITHOUT ADDRESSING THAT IRRITATING AND DISTRACTING BEEPING SOUND!?
Reggie Reg! If I make “It’s too deep for y’all to understand” shirts, will you take your personal time to sell them on bomb 1st and give me all the profits?
