Why 3D Platformers Need to Come Back NOW 

From Mario 64 to Sonic Frontiers, 3D platformers have been a part of gaming since 3D consoles came out. But when the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 came out, the genre seemed to die out, with only a few releases coming here and there since. In this video, I look back at some of the classic 3D platformers on the N64, PlayStation 1, and PlayStation 2. I also look at modern platformers. Throughout the video, you’ll see why I think 3D platformers deserve a comeback.
Note: Sorry for the choppy gameplay footage. My PC isn’t very good at recording footage. I'm hoping to get a new PC once this channel picks up.
