You had that mounting bracken figured out after the seller of pump told you were they thought it should go. They should be paying you the rights to the mounting bracket set up.👍🚜
Make sure you send your "re-engineering consult fee" invoice to Shaffert. Those desk jockey engineers sometimes need a course in real world applications.
Are you trying to prank us again!? LOL! You know what can happen! Good video, Andy. I don't know how you fit all that stuff on the planter. Thanks Andy.
Always a good time to watch you show the engineers who think they are so smart how things are done. You should really Patton your new fabrication ideals. The right way its done...
Sadly, today's engineers don't seem to have a clue as to what their product is supposed to do, and even less idea of how to maintain it. Like putting a grease fitting behind 3 shields that take 4 different size wrenches to access, sometimes daily. Or 3" tall filters with 2" of access. I can go on....
I assume that they want to have a relatively coarse filter to protect the pump and a finer filter to protect the valves. For me that means that the suction filter (before the pumps) should be more coarse and the pressure filter (after the pumps) should be finer. I expected the 80 micron filter before the pumps and the 50 micron would be after the pump.
I ran a988g and 992g first edition for a couple years that was cat’s way to get away from the double boom but they have since went back to the double boom I liked the single boom you could see really good but it took away from there digging power I’ve noticed Andy your luck is like mine every time I buy something that is supposed to fit it never does always have to do what you did make it where it will fit but great video keep up the good work and I hope you all have a great year
Was that a 25 foot wide blade magnetic Milwaukee tape measure you were using? That is my absolute favorite tape. They go on sale at home depot around Christmas, 2 for 20$! I bought a bunch of them last year.
Well done. Just wondering if putting say 6 inches spacers on tank bottom support to lift tank up could have been another option if it did not affect centre of gravity to much when full.
Farmer fixes in the field... usually dont need improvement..shed built are better. You guys build so much stuff..I HAVE FAITH YOURS IS GONNA DUITYOUR NEEDS. CARRY ON.
Thanks Andy, I to had the Thought as Why not mount it Horizontally and rotate the Filters. Which brings up another question. What good is the 80 Micron filter if the 1st Filter is 50 Micron.? Mike M.
Andy, I am just curious on how you ever made it farming before RU-vid? 🙃 I mean you got it made now with all the professional and expert help via RU-vid.
I was hoping you were gonna tell us you bought the loader for less than scrap price and you were gonna dig a couple big lagoons then park it for a tourist/ play structure for future grandchildren !
But Andy I can't read the manufacturers name. Cane you make a "flag" pedestal somewhere on that bracket? Another great modification that will be used somewhere else.
Our local Kubota did the same for us. Our largest tractor is only 110hp aa we are only a small livestock farm. When we had just lost my dad which I was still trying to come to terms with as one month he was making hay with me and weaning the animals the next he was dead within two weeks of being dianosed with stomach cancer. In those two weeks you could tell who were friends and who were gosspis the former just stated they were sorry ro hear he was in hospital and if we needed any help let them know the others would constantly be messaging coming up with various thoughts and guesses as to why until we said then after losing him it was constantly so what are you going to do with the farm which got to the point mum had got fed up with the constant asking and said its going down to solar panels or her other go to caravans. While my brother who doesn't actually work on the farm was looking up how much it would it would cost to get a wind farm company logo etc embroidered on a jacket and some clothes. Kubota on the other hand did me a solid one of their larger M7 tractors which after the did you see and not even in the ground comments shut them up as it was they were driving it back to their workshop for a customer while trying to work out which sensor was causing it to randomly derate itself they were about to hit rush hour so asked if the could park it up in our yard. After the weekend they ended up getting it fixed and took it back to the customer. But it shut a lot up.
Hi Andy ! Maybe Andrew new toy ! haha! you have a beautiful planter and good job on it . Thanks Andy for your time and everybody have a good day at the farm ! 🙋♂️
That big loader is what you would see around here in the coal mines loading these trucks with coal. I was wondering why that pulled in there before you explained it lol
You have to listen to the bloody arm chair experts thought Andy. The only problem is you could have the machine nearly worn out before they come up with the answer.
