There a trick to the jerk bait for deep lakes like here in Oklahoma by using the stickie weight I use a 5 gallon bucket I subspend it but not go to the very bottom Iv use more weight if it’s super cold

im so glad i seen this , i agree with you every bait has its time and place that its most effective , i cant wait for this weekend so i can get to the lake and fire out my lines while under the protection of night fall. 1 thing i learned is during the summer months when its scorching uncomfortably hott as in 95 and higher cast the crankbait straight line as close to the seawall as you can and repeat this pattern because i did this once and sure enough right under the shade by the seawall that the trees had provided i caught a 1 or 2 pound bass on a crankbait so i know good well that even muddy tan coffe cream conditions crankbaits work , another i thing learned was about the 2nd Monday at around nightfall i say about 5 or 6PM throw out the crankbait you'll be amazed what'll bite then.

The 5XD is hands down my favorite out of the lineup. I can't count how many I've caught on it but I honestly don't think I've ever caught a fish on the 6🤷‍♂️

When I got the Strike King 5XD's I got the shad, blue, and green shads finishes. Like you, I've got extra ones, too. In Montana 12 pound line is dominant.

I live down the street from Combs... I've watched him on the lake a time or two who I consider a Great cranker... But I have to say the pull method works best for me....I can feel the bottom better I think... Keep up the vids
